Watching the Michael Jackson Event

I did not think I would be watching the Michael Jackson event but I am…I wish they would kick those people out that are yelling out during the event…The brothers look strange..like they got a uniform on..got a glove on one hand?  What the fuck…
OK OK.. I Just turned OFF the Michael Jackson event.. Al Sharpton is speaking now.  I will not listen to him and I will not watch him.  He is a low life scum.  I will not have anything to do with anyone that has anything to do with Al Sharpton.
So my watching of the Michael Jackson show is over with…

How people can have anything to do with a super racist like Al Sharpton I just do not understand.
There is not one good thing about Al Sharpton.

Watch coverage of Michael Jackson Memorial?

The following is a comment from Dick Williams:

CNN POLL
How will you watch coverage of Michael Jackson memorial?
TV 13% 17488
Web 10% 13649
Not watching 78% 108297

  A poll on CNN.com

Enough and too much. The guy was talented but left a murky and

tarnished legacy. All the negatives seem to be forgotten in the rush

to make him into a  pop hero. I don't see that he used his celebrity

as some other rich celebrities  have done -like Oprah, Bill Gates,

Angelina Jolie  - all with a string of charitable works and

gifts.   He used his money for a self indulgent lifestyle that ended

up destroying him.

Tired of Michael Jackson

I am so tried of all the Michael Jackson news.  I see no end.  I think this is going to last for years.

Other things are going on in the world.  There are even some little stories that should be making the news nation wide.

Here local we have news about the accused cat killer Tyler Weinman.
We just had a shooting down here and 12 people were shot at a birthday party.  An assault rifle was used so do not get me started on that subject.

I just think the “reporting” about Michael Jackson has gotten crazy.  CNN is just as bad as Fox “news” and all the others.  I guess the only two that have not gone crazy is PBS and CSpan.

Michael Jackson’s Mom Fears Looting

Michael Jackson was strange.  I was never a fan of MJ but I got to admit he could sing and dance and he made some great music and videos.
The thing with the little boys…well..very odd…they way he lived was so odd that I just have to think that he had major mental problems.

I did not hate Michael Jackson.  He was found not guilty of the child porn stuff and we have to go with the jury when they decide a court case.  I think now that the cover up may come to and end with his death.
The world is going crazy right now with Michael Jackson love  and some of that may go the other direction when information starts to come to light.

What is making me sick is his family.  TMZ.COM and other sites are reporting that the family is concerned about other people looting and they want control of his bank accounts.
Michael Jackson’s body was not even cold yet and I saw on TV that his father had sent a truck to the house were MJ died to get his stuff.
His father, Joe Jackson,  showed up on the red carpet at the BET Awards the other day.  His father had all sorts of gold hanging around his neck.  He just looked looked like a low life.  He said we just lost “the biggest star” etc.  If you want to see an interview with Joe Jackson on the red carpet here it is:
Michael Jackson’s father Joe Jackson BET Awards 2008 CNN.

It seems that Joe Jackson is talking business and plugging new music projects.  I heard talk of concerts by other family members.  They wanted to do it in the past and Michael Jackson would not do it and they are saying now they may do it.

Michael Jackson is getting a lot of love and tears from his fans.  I do not see tears in the eyes of his father and others…No tears just dollar signs.
It sort of seems like the good do die young.  Michael Jackson dead at 50 and his father still alive at 79.

I know I just said Michael Jackson was “good” and I am not sure about that. If what MJ said about his father was true then MJ problems and mental condition may not be his fault but we can lay at the feet of his father.

Fox “news” hates Al Gore

I have noticed that Fox “news” hates Al Gore

“…Albert Arnold "Al" Gore, Jr. (born March 31, 1948) is an American environmental activist who served as the 45th Vice President of the United States from 1993 to 2001 under President Bill Clinton. He is an author, businessperson, and former journalist. In 2007, he shared the Nobel Peace Prize with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Gore also starred in the 2006 documentary An Inconvenient Truth, which won an Academy Award in 2007 and wrote the book An Inconvenient Truth: The Planetary Emergency of Global Warming and What We Can Do About It, which won a Grammy Award for Best Spoken Word Album in February 2009…

I am not sure what it is that makes Fox “news” so filled with hate for him.  They been saying that he is trying to make money off of the environment.
I hope that someone inside Fox is keeping notes and will publish a book someday on the workings of Fox.
It has been reported that Fox “news” gets their marching orders each day.  That someone from the top puts out the party line and that they have to follow the party line.  It seems to be true because they attack the same person and in the same way and use the  same words.
It just could be that Al Gore pissed off someone high up in the Fox “news” corporation and they are doing a pay back.
It is just odd.  I was never a fan of Al Gore.  My feeling was anyone is better than Bush.  So now when they beat up on Al Gore I do not care…I just wonder why beat up someone that does not even hold any office.  He is just a private citizen that happens to have been the Vice President of the United States, has a Nobel Peace Prize, won Academy Award and a Grammy.
I think that Fox “news” has to have someone that they can attack ….I think their viewer want someone that they are told is evil and right now they can not do it to the current President of the United States.

“The BBS Documentary by Jason Scott Licensed under Creative Commons Description: The BBS documentary part 1 baud [at lower resolution) In the Summer of 2001, Jason Scott, a computer historian (and proprietor of the textfiles.com history site) wondered if anyone had made a film about these BBSes. BBS: The Documentary Photos

Jason Scott made “BBS: The Documentary” between July of 2001 to December of 2004.  He filmed it using a Canon XL-1.  He visited 30 states and one Canadian province.  He shot roughly 250 hours of video.  He interviewed 205 people.
I was one of the people that he interviewed.  He came to Texas and took over 2 hours of video of me.  Of course only a very little of that shows up in the documentary.
One day that entire video will be on the Internet so after I am long gone someone can do research and use that interview and they can check and get information from the other entire 204 interviews.
Jason Scott made a great documentary but he also has saved the history of bulletin board systems and created a great database of information that will be long after we all gone.

He also took 11 photos when he interviewed me with a digital camera.  I do not think I have ever posted them all.  You may have seen a few of them.  I think it is about time for you to see them all.

Perez gets punched

What is wrong with hitting Perez Hilton?

I have seen Perez on TV and it looks to me like he is begging to be hit.  I am not sure who could be around the guy and not punch him.  If you do gossip on TV and trash talk people and act the fool I think you have to expect to be punched.  It is like you walk around with a sign saying hit me please.
