My feet have not been swollen since I was in the hospital. I been watching what I eat. Well late today I decided to have a Maruchan Yakisoba noodles dinner. Russell buys a lot of them. This was Teriyaki flavor. I checked it and it had 630 mg of sodium. That is 1/4 of the amount of sodium you should get in a day.
I had the noodles and almost right away my left foot swelled up.
I just have got to watch and control my salt intake.
I had a great day today. I feel real good.
I am sure you heard about the drag race at almost 4 am (0340). Another car ran into the people and killed 8 people. I heard one woman or read that one woman pulled her kid out danger but could not pull her dad and he died.
Question what in the kill were they doing watching a drag race at 4 am and with a kid?
I was up all night for most of my life it seems but I was working. At 4 am unless your working you should be in bed sleeping.
Last week I was thinking that I was going to die. This week I know I am going to live forever. Just think last week I was thinking of making a good confession and going to church every day.
Last week I was going to fill out an organ donation card and a living will. Now I am going to use up these old organs.
I got a good report on my heart test last week. There are a few more years left for me. (Unless I get killed by a Miami driver.)
The Florida Lotto for today is $30 million dollars. If you won would you take the cash or would you have them pay it out to you over 30 years?
I may just live 30 years but I would go for the one time payment.
I have one ticket for the drawing tonight. Let us say I win and because of taxes they give me $15 million dollars.
If you won the lottery and won $15 million dollars what would you do with it?
The first think I would do is take $5 million of it and put it into an account just for me. I don't own a home. I don't own a car. If I were not living with my son and grandson I am close to being homeless. So the first thing I would do is take that $5 million and put it away to take care of myself for the rest of my life.
If I had died last week my children would have had to come up with the money to get rid of my body. I do not have a saving account or insurance.
The SEIU Secretary-Treasurer Anna Burger has confirmed that the SEIU (Service Employees International Union) has endorsed Obama.
The SEIU has almost 2 million members.
I was for John Edwards. I voted for Hillary Clinton in the FL election.
But I am now in the Obama camp. I hope he does not let us down.
I watched as much of "Stranger Than Paradise" as I could stand. I think I may have watched half of it. My God what a bad movie. On IMDB I gave it a rating of 2 out of 10. The rating on IMDB is 7.4 by viewers.
I do not think I have had any chest pains today. It is almost 1500 hours.

I have had very little to eat today. I have had about 2 cups of Coke.
I had 3 oz of chicken today in a whole grain Pita sandwich pocket. The Pita "bread" was whole grain with flaxseed and honey. It sounded and looks gross but it was OK.
My whole body feels a little better today.

Not pretty. I have heard in the past about people having to get injections in the stomach and it sent chills down my spine. Truth is it was just a bad sting.
I think the bruising was not so bad because of the location but because of the medication they were using. I think they did the injections there so I would not end up half of my arm covered in bruising. My stomach, sorry to say, has lots of room for bruising.

The sought-after endorsement would be Obama's largest from organized labor, and give him a powerful boost against rival Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton in the March 4 presidential primaries in Ohio and Texas.
The 1.8 million-member union is likely to endorse Obama on Friday, the union officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media..."
If it is true that they endorse him today I will become a Obama man. I admire the SEIU. I was never a member. I was a member of the Boilermakers and UAW a long long time ago.
I went for my morning walk. I walked about 6 blocks to mail back a DVD. I got a 6 inch Subway sandwich and when I got home I checked it out on their site. I think it had 1770 MG of sodium. That is more salt than I should have in an entire day. No more Subway for me.
What I saw on my morning walk:
I am going to try from taking in any more salt today. That can not be done but I will try and hold it down as much as I can.
I am going to try and assembly a five-shelf bookcase that does not require tools and it has on the box "easy assembly" and I wonder just how easy it is for me.
WASHINGTON (AP) -- "The Pentagon is planning to shoot down a broken spy satellite expected to hit the Earth in early March, The Associated Press has learned.
U.S. officials said Thursday that the option preferred by the Bush administration will be to fire a missile from a U.S. Navy cruiser, and shoot down the satellite before it enters Earth's atmosphere.
The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because the options will not be publicly discussed until a later Pentagon briefing.
The disabled satellite is expected to hit the Earth the first week of March. Officials said the Navy would likely shoot it down before then, using a special missile modified for the task..."
Maybe it is a good idea to blow it up in space before it comes down. Do we want something the size of a bus coming down in one big piece or do we want hundreds of pieces of junk coming down on us?
My problem is that I do not trust the Bush administration. That is sad that I can not trust my own government to do the right thing.
It was my understanding that it was better to let it come down with out messing with it. The reports were that it would not be a good idea to shoot it down and have it rain down on us. Now the Bush people have decided it is better to shoot it down.
Do they just want to shoot it down so they can learn about shooting down satellites and space craft in space and this is a good excuse?
Do they want to shoot it down to hide something from us? Does it have material on it that we don't know about and they don't want us to know about? Have they told us it has nothing nuclear and it does have nuclear material?
Or are there just classified and secret items that they don't want photos of showing up on YouTube?
Would the Bush administration put us at risk from death just to hide a secret chip or antenna or something?
I can not trust a decision by Bush because he has never made the right decision on any subject since he became President of the United States.
Now this would make a great event for TV. We get to watch men walk in space and even on the moon. Will Bush let us see this satellite being shot down? I don't think so.
My oldest daughter is back home. It was great seeing her. She got me a book case when she was here. (I had an extra webcam I sent home with her. Plus I had given my old 7.2 MP digital camera to Russ. LaDawna loves to take photos and is very good at it. Well Russ decided to give her that camera. Her current camera is only a 2.0 MP camera but it does have an excellent lens on it. But I bet she finds herself using this new camera all the time. It is so small you can carry it with you all the time.)
She also had some good ideas about foods and how to take my medications.
Each day I take Aspirin (81 mg), Lisinopril (10 mg), Doxazosin Mesylate (4 mg), Avodart (0.5 mg) and two times a day I take Carvedilol (6.25 mg). I failed to get a prescription for Zetia and will get it later.
I am feeling better today. I been eating the right foods and not very much of it. I have had less than 2 small cups of Coke.
I have had a few Gummi Bears today. It looks like they have zero fats and only 10 mg of sodium (18 pieces ). I just have to make sure I do not eat the entire package in one day.
I got out for a small walk today. We had a lot of rain for the last two days. I will try and start walking each day. I wish I had a GPS unit to measure the distance that I walk. It would also record the speed.
My oldest daugher's brother in law (her husband's brother) was admitted to the hospital his blood pressure was 199 and he was having other problems. I don't know him but I am worrying about him that is a very high BP.
I just took my BP and it is 142/71 with heart rate of 60.
Valentine's Day is a holiday celebrated on February 14. I was up at the store this afternoon and a lot of people were buying candy and flowers and lots of other things. I can not remember the last time I gave someone something for Valentine's day and I can not remember the last time I got something.
A lot of trucks and cars are pulled up on the grass off the street and are selling things. It looks like they are going to do a good business. I am surprised that the police allow people to just pull off the street and up next to the side walk and sell things.
I always hated Valentine's Day as a kid. At school we would have a little box on our desk or a bag hanging from it. Then kids would put valentine cards in the box or bag. I only got cards, I think, from the kids that gave cards to everyone in the class.
That was in grade school of course.
My guess is that today kids are required to give a card to everyone in their class.
I just never fit in at school. I guess I was shy.
