13 degrees in Kansas City

  I am glad I am here in Miami (69 degrees).   It is 13 degrees in Kansas City.  (Washington DC 37 and Fort Worth 31).

  YouTube is saying they are going to share some of their income with people that post videos on YouTube.  No details yet.  I have 42 videos on YouTube but they are not the type, I am sure, that will earn any money.

  Yohoo has a report on Windows Vista: 15 Reasons to Switch.  I think this one is a big reason for me:

  If I could do that and run the 64 bit version it should make for a good system.  I need to upgrade my video card to run Vista however.

  I hear that Microsoft's Live Search Maps is very good.  It maybe better now than Google Earth.  However Microsoft's Live Search Maps only works with IE.  It will not work with Firefox.

Towed Another Car

  I was listening tonight and I heard a truck and looked out the window and saw a tow truck tow away another car from the parking lot.  I noticed that the car being towed did not have any tail lights on it.  It is 1900 hours here and dark.
  There are towing light bars and things like that a tow company can buy and put on a car fast but this guy did not do that... I think it is interesting that they break the law.

  There have been too many people here parking on fire lanes and on the grass and something does need to be done.  They have also posted signs and they have sent notices to the people that live here.
  Of course there are not enough parking space here.  Each person that lives here has one parking space and there are a few "guest" parking spaces. 

  I should keep my camera ready to take photos.  One of these days there is going to be a big fight in the parking lot over the towing.  I should point out however that the tow truck driver never gets out of his truck.  He backs up and drops a device and backs it under the car and lifts and then backs the car back a bit and then hauls ass out of here fast.

Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium

  I have a 64 bit computer and have decided that I want to run 64 bit software.  When I ran the test copy of Windows Vista and I ran the 64 bit version it seemed my computer was faster.
  But then I was thinking I could not afford the upgrade and was thinking of installing Linux 64 bit.
  I got an email today from TigerDirect and they are offering "OEM" versions of Vista.  I could get the Windows Vista Home Premium (64 bit) OEM DVD for $119.99 and that seems like a good price.  I hate to do any business with TigerDirect.  I will check with Russell and see if he can get me an OEM version of the software.

Penis Size Traffic

  The traffic to ShowMeBlog is down a bit.  I am getting very few hits about the "Little People, Big World" TV show.  I am not getting many now about Colin Farrell.  I guess he needs to do something to get back in the news. 
  Most of the search hits right now are from teenage boys wanting to know what size their penis should be and many want to know if there is anything they can do to make it bigger.  The next subject that I get a lot of hits is about the "Any Any Any" health care plan.

  I still do not have my $400 back in my account.  I left a message on the bank site so they could answer back.  Then, after a long time, they sent me an email which said;  "...The response can be viewed by logging into your account and browsing to the Message Center."  So I log in and go to the "Message Center" and of course their is no message for me.  There is no message of any sort for me.
  It has been 72 hours now.  One more day will make it 96 hours and that was the top range I was given on the telephone.  The guy I talked to, the other day, said it could take as long as 96 hours.
  What can I take out of all this so far?   One is never use the ATM at Colonial Bank (Dadeland Branch).  The other thing would be to always say yes you want a paper receipt when you use an ATM.  I now agree with Ken and that is do not be taking out $400 or $500 out of an ATM.  Another thing I have decided is that if I try and take money out of an ATM and it does not work don't go and try a different ATM.  
  I guess that is all I have learned so far.  I like on line  banking.  I do not like ATM machines.  I will get this money back.  I wish they would post it now.  I am going to be pissed if it goes right to 96 hours and I have to call them again on the telephone.

Invincible except to age

  I got three DVDs today.  I got "The Ringer", "Hoot" and "Invincible".  None of them were great movies.  But they were OK.

  This condo here has new management and they put up more no parking signs and put out a notice they were going to be towing cars.  I saw them tow two at the same time.  They had two trucks here at the same time and hooked up fast and pulled them out of here.  I suspect they did it all over the place.  The tow company is going to make some money and there are going to be a lot of pissed off people that live here.

  I have not had that $400 credited to my account yet.  I know I will get it but it should not take this long.  Ken must think that I am in pretty bad shape.  He said I should have Russell go with me when I use an ATM.  I am getting older and getting slower but I am not that far gone yet.  
 
  When you get old and your mind starts to go...the problem is you don't know it is going...  Since the younger people now days use computer so much ...when they get older there should be some sort of computer program/game they could use/play from time to time that would test the state of your mind. 
  Then you get some sort of rating of your mental condition.  If you started to lose it bad... a gun could come out of the screen and shoot you between the eyes.  No that would make a mess.  Maybe a needle could be hidden down in one of the keys on the keyboard and come up and stick you and that would be it..you would be gone.

  Shawn Hornbeck has a new web site!  (Wonderful he will have perverts trying to contact him.  They may want a slave that has already had training.)  He is getting a new home.

  I guess I did not follow the case a great deal because this is the first time I heard the name Mitchell Hults.  He is the young man that gave the police the information  about the truck that was in the area.  That is how they found the two kidnapped boys.
  Mitchell Hults was given a new pickup truck.  A local radio station gave him $1000 and he has got other gifts.  I don't have a problem with rewarding him for the help he gave in the case.

  Shawn Horbeck is reported to be getting gifts.  I wonder why that seems to brother me?  It should not.  The kid had four years of hell.  If anyone deserves to happy times and some gifts it is that kid.  I think the reason it sends red flags for me is that I think he does not need any attention...He needs time to heal in private.
  It looks to me like the press is backing off some... except for Bill O'Reilly.  What has Bill O'Reilly been saying about Shawn Horbeck;  "...He didn't have to go to school. He could run around and do whatever he wanted...The 11-year-old boy no longer had to go to school. He could watch TV and play video games all day. He was given an iPod, a computer, an Xbox 360 and a bike.."  
  One of the points of Bill O'Reilly is that he is a watch dog for kids and looking out after their rights.  I think this shows his true feelings.  He is looking out after ratings.
 
  There is a Shawn Hornbeck Foundation (set up in 2002) but I could not look at the site because it down right now because the server could not handle the increased visitor traffic.
   If money has been collected in the past, before Shawn was found, I hope it was used for the correct things.  Now if the family is getting donations and gifts..well I don't know..  Maybe they are trying to profit from all of this..  On the other hand guys like Bill O'Reilly try and make a profit off of everything.  He pretends to care about kids.

Winter Time in Florida

  It is going to be in the low 50s tonight.  Just north of us it maybe in the high 40s.  That is winter time here.  They have warnings out about the weather. 

The photo above was taken today.  I was coming back from the CVS at the mall and I ran into Russell.  I had him take a photo of me. 

10,000,000 or more spams from Sales@ShowMeBlog.Com

  I am not the only one but the NPR Corporation sent out millions of spam emails to people and they used a return email of sales@showmeblog.com 
  Of course it did NOT come from my domain.  They just use that return email address and many others.  I am not sure if they sent out 10 million or more than 10 million.
  I get a ton of "returned" emails sent to my domain.  I even get some of the spam sent to my other email addresses.  

  Some of the email spam they send out is for their own spam service.
 
The return email address for the above advertisement was sales@howmeblog.com but the link in the email spam took you to their web site. 
I do not understand why a police officer has not arrested them all.   They have broken federal and state laws. 
These people are doing major spam.  I bet, right now, that over half of all the spam and junk mail you get is coming from this one company.
These people should be put on a watch list and not allowed to fly.  Their passports should be taken.
If the United States of America can not handle a matter like this one.. how in the hell can the protect our nation of other terrorism.
These people are terrorists.  They are slowing down the Internet.  They are filling the mail boxes of police, judges and Home Land Security mail boxes with spam.  What if I were to send millions of phone calls to 911 or to a judge or someone in the FBI or Homeland Security?  Would they allow me to do that?  I don't think so.  So why should they allow this NPR company to send millions of spam emails?

  That is correct you are seeing over 50 comments from people posted here about the pain, damage and cost that this NPR Corporation is causing.  If you read the comments you will see that some people are demanding that something be done and some are begging for help.
  How much does it cost to have someone killed?  
  There are crime organizations all over the world right?
  If our justice system can not take care of that matter do we have the right to take action on our own?
  How much does a "hit" cost?  Should I start a fund for donations to put out a "contract" on the owner of NPR corporation?

My Other Sites Get Little Traffic

  I woke up at 0400 and checked my account and they have not put the $400.00 back into my account yet.
  So I was awake at  0430 to wake Ken for work.  Ken is now doing the job.  There are three new employees at that post and Ken was the first to start doing the job.  Everything went well and his trainer wrote that he was doing everything correct.  Others at the post told the manager that Ken was doing excellent. 

  I did a check of the Florida Lottery and my number was 04-15-16-20-23-47 and the winning number was 03-05-17-19-35-39.  I did not get one number correct.  That shows how hard it is too win.  No one got the winning number and the next jackpot is now worth $14 million. 

  My Howard's Notebook site looks good.  I love the Joomla! software.  I have spent a great deal of time working on the site.  Almost no one goes to the site.  It is rare that anyone visits the site.  The Joomla! software creates URLs that do not search index well.  Just about the only traffic that goes to HNB are people that are at ShowMeBlog and look around and click on the link to HNB.
  It looks like any effort and work that I put in on HNB is wasted.  It would be better to put that work into ShowMeBlog. 
 
   It is the very same for Show Me Magazine.  Almost zero traffic.  I use Joomla! software at that site.  I have some "magazine" software that I use on top of it and I have not done a good job of turning it into a magazine format.  I am just going to give up that magazine idea and am not sure what I will do with Show Me Magazine.

  ShowMeCam does get traffic each day.  It gets close to 100 "hits" each day.  That is not a great deal of hits but some of those people stay at that site for hours.  They are just watching my video.  I use Joomla! software for ShowMeCam.  I like the idea of having ShowMeCam have it's own site.  It will let me put everything connected with video on that site.  So I am happy with ShowMeCam.
 
  Russell got a new game the other day and he got a game controller for his computer.  The game will not work on that computer.  The game is Splinter Cell Double Agent.  He installed it on my computer and it will not work because I need a better video card.
  Russell has today off.  I think he is going to go and buy a new video card.  He can get a real good deal on the BFG GeForce 7600 GS OC video card with 512MB of DDR2 memory.

  If the card does not work in his computer he will put the card in this computer.  I hope the card does not work in his computer.  [Smile]  I would have to let him play his game on this computer but I would end up with a kick ass video card.

I hate ATM machines

  It was a good day.  My SS check went into my account.  Later in the day, around 2 PM, I went to the mall to take out $500.00 from the ATM.  The ATM said can not do the transfer at this time.  I was thinking maybe I can't do 500.00 and so I attempted to take out 400.00  and same message.  I think OK the ATM is out of money.  I go to a different ATM and try $200.00 and it says the same thing.  I think OK their bank computer must be down.  I cross the mall parking lot and go to the Colonial Bank (Dadeland Branch) and try their ATM for $400.00 and I get the message "Declined - Network Is Down."  So I go home.  I have to walk through the food court with not even a dollar in my pocket.  I go home.  I still have some food at home but I was wanting some lemon pie or something like that from the mall.
  Six hours later I go to the mall and try and take money out of the mall ATM.  I get a message that says I have exceeded the amount that I can take out in one day.  I did not take any out today.  This does not sound good.
  I again walk through the food court with an empty bill fold.
  I get home and log into my account.   Yes friends it shows that a little over $400.00 has been taken out of my account.  It shows that I took out $400.00 at the Colonial Bank. 
  This is not good.  When you have to live on $770.00 a month and on the first day you lose $400.00 to a bank error... not good. 

  I called my bank and they said that the error will be corrected.  They said that the bank ATM will send an error message saying that the withdrawal did not take place and they will put my money back in 24 to 96 hours.
  I hate fucking ATMs.  I hate voice mail. 

  I have a Florida Lotto ticket for tonight and the jackpot is $9 million dollars.  It would be nice to win.  Just think I could tell my little story about the ATM and say that it looked like I was going not going to eat for about a month and then I won $9 million dollars.  It would make a nice true story.

  I am just about out of two of my medication.  I will soon have to get all three of my medications filled.
  I got my dental insurance card today.  I need to make an appointment to have a check up and my teeth need a cleaning.
