Almost 1000 visitors to ShowMeBlog today

  We just about hit 1000 visitors to ShowMeBlog today.  Maybe we will make it tomorrow.
  Also we had a lot of viewers for ShowMeCam. 



  I made a few improvements to ShowMeBlog and Howard's Notebook today.  I still have a lot of work that needs to be done.  I just noticed that the double click on a word here is not working.  I will have to check that.  
  I am at 198 pounds today.  I would be less but I got Russell to loan me $10.00 and I got a ten pack of Coke Zero and a Subway.
  My BP is 121/67.  It looks like my new blood pressure medication is working.

Second Life Sex Machine

  I am not into game playing.  The only game I play is "Age of Mythology."  I been playing the trial version of "Age of Empires III" and I plan to get it someday.
  Other games I have never played and don't know anything about them.  But from reading on Yahoo News about "Second Life sex machine spawns lawsuit" it sounds like I should be playing "Second Life."

  Talking about a second life...  a CNN poll reports that Bush has gone up in their poll.  He was at 32 percent in June and he is now at 36 percent.  They report that the gain is entirely due to Republicans "coming home."  There is no change with Democrats or independents. 
  President Bush is on vacation for three weeks.  They are not calling it a vacation however. 
 

Stock Market down - Blog Readers up!

  I just noticed that as the stock market goes down the number of readers of ShowMeBlog goes up.  Smile



  OK OK..just kidding.. Just wanted you to take a little peek at what brings people to ShowMeBlog.

  Well for the person that wanted to see Harry Potter nude. We can help.  Here is one photo we did not print.  He or she (smile) will have to do a search on our site for the other five or six nude photos of him.

News today

  I feel pretty good today.  I am at 200 pounds or maybe 199 bit hard to tell on my scale. 

  Did your read about the woman that used a stolen credit card and won $1 million dollars?  The winning ticket was the proceeds of an illegal activity (using the card) and she has to give the money back.  I wonder how she must feel now and for the rest of her life.  Smile

  Have you heard about the 3 inch gouge on the space shuttle belly?  It does not sound good. 

  CNN says the movie "Stardust" is a "Shrek" for grown-ups.  It sounds like a movie I got to see.  I cancelled my BlockBuster membership.  When I get $5.00 in my bank account I am going to sign up for NetFlix.  (Yes I am that broke.  Smile)

  No phone call from my ex-wife today!  Smile.  This has been a great day.  Smile.

  I did not get anything done today.

Okefenokee Swamp

  I heard on the news the other day a mention of the Okefenokee Swamp.  When I was a kid I spent a summer, with my mother and father,  living in Barnwell SC.  My father was working on the Savannah H-bomb plant.  I forget the year but it would have been about 1953 or 1954. 
  I got to get my family photos from my ex-wife someday.  I have photos.
  Well during the summer that I was there we went to a park, in GA I think, and my father, a friend of his and I went out on a row boat to fish.  I was told it was the Okefenokee River and was part of the Okefenokee Swamp.  My father was drinking and standing up in the boat and rocking the boat.  There were Alligators in the water.  But we made it home and did not end up as lunch for Alligators. 

   I remember my father saying he had a "Q clearance" and after all these years, and thanks to the Internet, I just looked it up.  I never knew anything about it and was not sure he got it correct. 

    I hooked up my Logitech G15 keyboard again to my computer.  I want to try and setup some programmable keys to save me some time.

Up All Night

   I was up all night.  I was working on Howard's Notebook all night.  I changed the template a number of times.  I went to bed about 0700 hours and was up at 1100 hours.  I may still change HNB today.  I am not sure why I do it because HNB gets very little traffic.
   Well I enjoy playing with it.  It is sort of like a game.

   I am playing with it again. Looks like that will be my project for today.
   I have 9 templates installed and I can switch to each of them.  But each time I switch I have to change the location of everything and that takes hours.  Well it keeps me out of trouble.

   I just took my BP and it was 131 over 84.  That is good but the bottom number is high for me.  That is a good BP rate but my bottom numbers are always in the range of 60. 

   My weight is at 202 right now.  I think I will get the weight down below 200 here soon.

    I read about my eye problems last night on the Internet.  I do not think it has anything to do with my medications. It will be a minor problem but it is not going to kill me.  Smile

   
  

Alexa

  I been having bad sharp chest pains today.  My eyes still brother me late in the day.  My right rear flank pain was not as bad today as yesterday.  God I sound like an old man.  Dam I am an old man.  Smile

  I messed with Howard's Notebook today.  I did not make all that much progress because I keep changing the template.  Each time I change the template I have to move all the content around.  But like I said before it keeps me from messing with ShowMeBlog and that is good.

  The Thoof site that I posted about is pretty neat.  I found some interesting blogs. 
  One site is Endangered Spaces.  Interesting report on the Navy radar and the effect on life in the oceans.  
  I found an interesting site where the woman talked about per per post sites. You know I am signed up with one.  It is rare for me to post something for money.  I only do it when I would post on the subject anyway..something interesting.  Well this woman has some interesting information on her blog.. but then when I went to read the entire blog from the current date back..she had a great many pay for post articles and it just spoils the reading.
  She had a  Alexa rating on her site.  I checked rating and went wow..that is good.. then I noticed she did not have her own domain.  So the rating was that of BlogSpot. 
  
  My Traffic Rank on Alexa is 783,338 and I don't think that is very good.  I checked the sites linking to ShowMeBlog.  Remember my Xanga site?  It was what I used right before I went to TypePad.  I think the last time a made a real post to Xanga was back in December of 2003.  I think the first post I made was in December of 2002.  I guess I used Xanga for about a year.
  I don't remember which service I used before Xanga.  I think that was LiveJournal.
