GA Lottery - Mega Millions

  A friend sent me two lottery tickets for the GA Mega Millions lottery.  It was for 7/24/2007 and the jackpot was $44 million dollars.  I wanted to check the tickets until I was feeling lucky.  Well I just checked the tickets and I did not win.  No one won and the jackpot is now at $65 million dollars.
  
 I told you the other day I went to the store and got $100.00 worth of food.  I been eating and eating.  I am at almost 210 pounds (I was at 204).  I think I can lose the weight in August because I am going to run out of money and food.  That is one way to go on a diet.  Smile
  I have been having almost zero chest pain. I do have a tightness all the time. 
  I just took my blood pressure and it was 135/62.  That is normal.  It is better than it has been.  Maybe the medication is working.

  SpamArrest is working great for me.  You can click on the banner on the right side of ShowMeBlog for information.  I do not get spam and junk mail.  Well I get them but they go into a holding area and I can check the holding area if I want to check it.  I am back loving email again.

  Back many months ago I nominated ShowMeBlog for the Blogger's Choice Award.  I voted for SMB.  That was one vote.  I just went and did a check and SMB still has just one vote.  Smile
  So far today we had 599 people come to SMB.  I will say it again.. I get no respect.  Smile
 

Working on Howard's Notebook

  I have been working on Howard's Notebook for the last day or two.  I think it is starting to look real good but I still have a great deal of work that I need to do on it.

  I want HNB to be the place that I put my political comments.  I also want it to be an area were I cover other subject in more depth.  Now I have made this attempt many times in the past.  One it is hard for me thing on HNB.  I will often just post to SMB and then think later that it should have gone to HNB.
  Also HNB gets almost no traffic.  You guys are busy and you check out SMB but you don't want to spend the time to check out HNB.  Then I think what is the point in doing a lot of work on something and put it on HNB and no one will see it.

  But I am working again on HNB and trying to get it in shape.  Right now.. I have a lot of things I need to set up.  If you want to see a work in progress then check out:

Hate Crime Laws

  Americablog has a post about the killing of a man named Kenneth Cummings Jr.  He was a Shouthwest flight attended.  He was killed by a Terry Mark Mangum who appears to be a religion nut.
  Mangum killed him because he believed that he believes he is Elijah and is God's prophet and was called upon to kill a gay man.  (He believed Cummings to be gay.)

  Americablog is saying that attacks like that should be hate crimes. 
  I am not sure I agree.  I am not sure that we should have "hate crime laws" at all.  If someone attacks someone and is found guilty and is put in jail for 10 years then OK.  But if it is a hate crime and a person then gets 15 years I say just give everyone 15 years.  Maybe I am wrong on this but that seems to me the best way to do it. You don't have to try and prove something was a hate crime.
  I objected to "affirmative action" when it first became a law.  My feeling was that everyone should be treated the same.  I felt that we were all Americans and we should not have a break down by race.  Year later there was a program on TV and they talked about how great affirmative action was and how much things had improved for blacks.  So then I changed my mind and said OK we need affirmative action.  Years later I could see that I was right the first time.  We should not have had affirmative action.  I think it hurt the nation and black and white relations.  I think it was a set back for us all.

  CNN reports that Cheney's pacemaker needs a new battery.  OK there has got to be a joke in that story someplace.  I guess we will have to watch the late night shows and see what jokes they come up with.

  I have not made an appointment with a heart doctor yet.

  What are the five?  Hysterectomy,  Episiotomy,  Angioplasty,  Heartburn surgery and Lower-back surgery.
  Well the first two I don't have to worry about.  Smile
     
 

Bill O'Reilly.Com Threatens Hillary Clinton's Life

  A regular poster on Bill O'Reilly's web site posted a message "If (Hillary) wins..my guns are loaded" and they did not remove the post.  When Bill O'Reilly attacked a left wing blog and they attacked his blog for having the death threat to the Democratic presidential contender and former First Lady Bill's reply was that the left wing blog had planted someone on his blog and they posted the entry.
  The person that posted the message had written over 1000 posts on O'Reilly's web site.

The above, the Daily Kos, says are from Bill O'Reilly's web site.  I could not check it out because it is a pay site and I am not paying Bill O'Reilly money to read his blog.

Truth is that it is very hard for someone that has a big and popular blog or web site to control what is posted on the site.  The problem with all of this is that Bill O'Reilly lives in a glass house.  He attacks people and his hands are not clean.  Everyone knows what a dirty little prick Bill O'Reilly is and the truth is I think he knows himself.  
 I don't even think he believes the lies he puts on his shows.  I think he would do and say anything for money.  I get the feeling that money is his heart and soul.  I know he is always trying to get readers for his pay site and he is always pushing the items he sells.  He is a true Republican. 

C&O Canal - Washington DC Area

  I got these photos today, via email, they were taken today on the C&O Canal.  The canal runs parallel with the Potomac.  I am very surprised I had no idea Washington DC had anything like this.

  I want to check out Washington DC.  Not because of the above but because of everything else they have..might be fun to go for a vacation after we have a new president.

Good Day

  I had a good day today.  I had almost zero chest pain.  I have tightness but no pain.  I am not sure if the new medication is the reason.

  It is almost midnight here and I can hear a storm coming this way.  I love FL weather.

  Dick, from Missouri, sent me a Missouri Power Ball ticket that is good from July 25 to August 8th.  He sent me two Mega Million tickets from GA and the draw date was July 24th. The GA jackpot is 44 million.  I am going to wait and check them some other time and I can dream that I might be the winner of 44 million dollars.

  Speaking of dreams I been having some dreams.  I hate my dreams.  I never have a good dream.  I never have a sex dream. Most of the time they are work type dreams.  I am at work and trying to find something or someone and their is some reason I have to do it fast..and everything I do.. is too late and too slow.
  I had a dream the other day that my son, Jimmy, was missing.  I was looking everyplace for him.  Then he turned up and he was very thin and would not speak about what happened to him.
  I hate my dreams. 

  At the store today I got 18 Maruchan Instant Lunch cups.  They cost 37 cents each.  I think I got them for less than that because I got them in boxes of six.  I can think of a lot of things I would eat first over the Instant Lunch but they are cheap.  It says "Made in America" but I wonder about that now.  I heard on the news that a lot of the things that go into our food come from China.  I wonder how pure and safe those things are after all the news reports.  I heard, I think, something on NPR that it was hard for China to inspect the places that make foods because most of the places had less than ten employees.  I wonder if that is true.  It sounds odd to me.
 
  Today was a big news day.  Lots of interesting stories happening today.

Loneliness (Klub Cut) by Tomcraft

  I get asked often what sort of music I like.  Right now I am listening to "Loneliness" by Tomcraft.  That is one song I like a great deal.

  I did my own stress test today.  OK OK it was not with Thallium.  I went to the store for food.


 

  I got $100.00 worth of food.  OK OK you can see the $30.00 worth of Coke on the bottom of the cart.  I carried it all into the house, we are on she second floor, and I had no chest pain.  I was tried but hell I am 66 yeas old.
 
  I am listening right now to "Blood Is Pumpin'" by DJ Micro.  I like it.
