Breakfast and Lunch

 
This is what I had to eat today.  It was breakfast and lunch.  It is almost 8 pm now and Ken may go to the store later.  If he goes I will go with him and get food at the store.  So I may still have something else to eat today.

I took a nap for a bit today and the chest pains got better.  After going to the mall to get something to eat the pain came back and I took another nap.  The pain is still here but not as bad.  I will see Monday about getting in some place for the heart test.

What a way to start the day
I just woke up.  I was OK.  Pain did not wake me up.  Woke to use the bathroom.  Then after just a few minutes.. very bad chest pain.. scary.. I wish I had seen the heart doctor.  I wish I had made an appointment for that test.  Pain is bad.
I think I am going back to bed and hope the pain will go away.. with bed rest.  I wanted to walk over to the store and get some food.  I am out of food.  But I think the best thing for me to go to bed.

I got $168.50 back from Medicare because of my new health care plan.  I am not sure where that amount of money came from... Darlene today also got back money but she got the $93.00 amount.  My guess is that I will get back $93.00 from now on. 

Simvastatin
I got  my Rx for Simvastatin filled today.  It was $12.50 for one month. 

Good Place for Jim
There is an ice storm coating the Midwest.  I am here enjoying the nice warm weather.  We have had a bit of wind.  There is a Pacific tsunami warning.  Jim is on the Atlantic side enjoying the sun. 
OK OK I would have loved to have been at the CES show in Las Vegas.  I have never been to Las Vegas and have never been to the CES show.  It sounds like the device I would love to have is the new iPhone.  It will not be out until summer and is going to cost $500.00 (there will be an 8 GB model for $600.00). 

They Love Jim in Ghana
I love/hate the IM programs.  I have met some of my best on line friends via ICQ or Yahoo or some other IM program.  But I also have been contacted by some of the biggest ass holes via IM programs.
For the last few months I get one or two contact via Yahoo from a woman each day.  They always contact me via an IM message.  Most of the time they do a "buzz" sound to get my attention right off the bat.  They almost always say they are 35 years of age and when asked they most of the time are in Ghana.  It seems my name and IM ID got on some sort of list that they are using .. they say they are 35 years of age.. and they just love old men.  They want to be a girl friend or wife.. the don't waste any time.  They may also offer to sell gold or want you to cash money orders for them or something.. the point is they are out to scam people.  If I did not need to run AOL IM and Yahoo IM because I use them for VoIP phone service I would never run any IM program.

 

Politically Correct Crap

Just say it
When I went to work at Research Medical Center( Kansas City MO)  back in 1982 as a Safety and Security Officer.  Just about the first time I got on the radio and I said something about "black male(s)" I was contacted by my supervisor and later a number of the other officers and told that we were not allowed to say "black" male or female it had to be "code B".  So you would say I have a "code B" male here or there is a code B male running or something like that...  I just said to hell with that and during the 18 years I worked for RMC I used black male or white male.  Truth is pretty soon everyone else started to use "black" male and the old policy was out the door.  After 5 years the old director of security was out the door, he retired, and no one followed his policy for sure after that.. 
So we even had politically correct crap in 1982.  I am not sure just when it all began. 
A few years I went to work for Dadeland Mall (Miami FL)  as a Public Safety Officer.  I don't work for them any more.  I quit them but I found out later they were getting ready to fire me because the mall manager had found my blog and saw a nude photo of me.  The mall manager a little puke of a guy had given orders that I be fired. 
Well a few seconds ago my scanner happened to stop on the Dadeland Mall security channel (462.200 MHz) and I heard the officers talking about "Bravo" females (Bravo is their politically correct for black).  I had forgot that they used that term.  I never used it.  I don't remember if they said anything to me about it or not. 
You know when I worked at Research Medical Center that policy there was written by the Director of Security and he was one of the most racist men you would find at that time. 
We need protection from the people that are trying to force us to be politically correct.  They are the ones we need to worry about.
There was some news story on TV last week..something about a teacher saying "nigger" and FOX news was trying to report on the story but the reporter was about to faint because he was trying to not say the word or even think the word.  I would be willing to bet when he was not on camera that the "N" word rolls off of his lips with out a problem.  I bet that the "N" word is used in the HQ of FOX news all the time.
Watch out for the people that pretend to walk the politically correct walk and talk the politically correct talk.  Watch out for those people that wrap them self in the American flag or have a lapel pin.  Watch out for those that rave and rant about porn and sex.  Their eyes are blood shot from all the porn they watch.

Ken was looking on line at condos in Brazil.  He is thinking that maybe in a year or two he will buy a condo in Brazil.  He was thinking in the $70K range.  He would go there for a vacation each year. 
I told him that I could live in it 11 months out the year and he could vacation one month a year.  He sounded like he might be interested in a deal like that.. I would be watching over his investment.  I would be living the good life, on the beach, in Brazil.  Sounds good to me.

After reading about visas rules and problems I am not sure living there 11 months out of the year would work out.  I will look into it some more.  I have never done any travel outside of the United States, except for Mexico, and I don't know anything about visa and travel options.  It sounds like it is not easy to live in another country.
Going on vacation is not a problem but living in another nation seems to be a problem.  I know you can not own real estate in Thailand. I don't know about Brazil.

 

 

 

 

Any Any Any Plan Penis

Traffic (hits) back to normal here now
Traffic here seems to be back to normal.  I am still getting a lot of hits from teenage boys wanting to know about penis size.  Getting the last day or two a bunch of hits about the Any Any Any health care Plan.  
The hits about the TV show ("Little People, Big World") is down. 

Cold in Miami? 
It got down to 59 degrees the other night.  That is cold for this area.  We had the heat on for the last couple of days.  The sun is out and it looks like the weather here is back to normal.

I just took this photo a few minutes ago.  I wish I knew all about flowers and plants.  I would love to walk in the woods and have the ability to say that is such and such.

Carts carts my kingdom for a cart
All over this area of Miami and maybe all over the city you see carts.  People go to a store and they live in the area and they take a cart home.  My guess is that when you have apartments and condos near a store that people will do that...it is stealing..people are doing it.  I am sure it is a costly problem.
I told Ken if I had a pick up truck I could make a good living returning carts.  He does not believe me.

Bush Speech

Bush Apologies for Mistakes then..
I watched all of the Bush speech tonight (01/10/2007).  He did a fair job of giving the speech.  I am not sure if he is getting better or if I am just not shocked any more that we have a stupid President.
I do not think that 20K more troops will make any difference.  Maybe 200K more troops could do the job for a little bit.  Bush should have resigned from office or he should have fallen on his sword.  The damage he has done to this nation can not be believed.

I took my BP right after the speech and it was 134/68 @62.  That is good.  I think back when the GOP was in control of all three branches of the government it would have been much higher.

Little Manhattan
I watched "Little Manhattan" today on DVD.  It was excellent.

I am watching "Miami Vice" right now.  I am just watching because it was filmed in Miami.  It is not my sort of film but because of the location I am watching.

I gave Russell the wooden computer desk out of my room.  So the computer in the living room is back in operation.  I got a mess in my room.  I am trying to find some place to put everything.

I took out a box of glass to the trash.  I came back exhausted and weak.  I decided to do my BP and it was 123/62.  That is great.  Now I am worrying ..it is too good.  Smile

Spam King days numbered
I was contacted by a guy that he or his company took FAX spammers to court and they won over the spammers.  It looks like this guy or his company is going to do the same thing with the NPR (spam) company.  Him finding ShowMeBlog and the comments left here seem to be what is going to cause him to take this action.  We will see what happens.  I hope someone will keep us up to date on this matter.
I am not sure if it will be a class action case or not.  I am not sure if people that want in on the case need proof of lost or if just the fact that they used your domain address would be enough.  I know they used showmeblog.com to send out tons of email.  One way I know it is because, right now, 200 or more messages that are rejected by sites is sent direct to me.  I never send out email from ShowMeBlog.Com and don't have an email address even set up.  But I do get all emails that are rejected sent to another email address.  So I know they are using showmeblog.com to send out millions of items of spam and junk mail.  They are, of course, using hundreds, maybe thousands, of other domain names to do the same thing.  I do not want any money I just want them to stop using my domain names and I want them to stop sending me junk mail and stop sending me "bills" for services.  Now I would not mind taking a club and beating the crap out of the owner and everyone that works for him.

On the NPR spam operation I think their days are numbered.  Of course someone will take over and keep doing it.  I should have just taken up a collection and we should have found some mob and paid them for a "hit" on the owner and his family.  Yes we all would have been guilty of murder but I don't think that a jury would find us guilty.  I think x number of members of the jury would not find us guilty for taking out a spammer.  We just need to make sure we get people on the jury that use the Internet.  I guess we should not do a "contract" on the family of the guy..that might not go over with the jury.  But if it was just the owner and brain behind the operation.. I think we could do it and get away with it.  If I were on the jury I would vote for not guilty. 

Accident with Glass Desk

Very Lucky
We had an accident here and we were very lucky.  No one was hurt.  We have a desk with a glass top in the living room (Russell's bedroom).  Russell and Ken have my old computer on that desk.  They both have lap top computers but they also use the computer on the glass desk.
Ken was using the computer and the glass desk top broke.  He is not sure just how it happened.  That desk is a mess because Russell just does not keep in in order.  The monitor had books under it.  Ken thinks that maybe the monitor fell off the books and hit the glass top.  Ken is not sure.

It must have been excellent safety glass. Ken was not hurt but glass went all over the front room. 

Now I have the very same desk in my room.  I have a big monitor on the desk top and I have had concern for the safety for a long time.  I love my desk and I need my desk but I am going to get rid of it.  I think there is too much risk.  If I had a LCD monitor I might keep the desk.  But after hearing the sound of that breaking glass and seeing what happened..I think it is time to get rid of this desk.  I set often at this computer desk nude.  Even if I did not get cut I would have lots and lots of glass all over me.

Saddam Hussein After His Execution

A new video apparently showing Saddam Hussein after his execution with a gaping neck wound and facial bruising is posted on the Internet.

The footage, which appeared Monday, shows the former Iraqi dictator, apparently still wearing the white shirt and black coat he was hanged in, lying on a gurney covered with a white sheet.
