The Spam Help We Been Looking For?

Google History aka Alexa

  I am signed up and using Goggle History, of course, but you know it is the very same idea and works just like Alexa.  I wonder if virus detection programs are going to start detecting it as a virus or Trojan.  I do not think so.  It has the Goggle brand on it.
   I will let you know how it works out.
   I know my Republican friends will not want to use it because it would keep track of all the porn sites they visit. 

   I watched “Little people, Big World” tonight.  Good show.

   I am worrying about Jimmy.  I fear he is not taking his medication.  He needs to take his medication.

  I just lost my cable TV but I still have the Internet service.

I'll probably visit more than 100 web pages today, and so will hundreds of millions of people. Printed and bound together, the web pages you'll visit in just one day are probably bigger than the book sitting on your night table. Over the next month alone, that's an entire bookcase full! The idea of having access to this virtual library of information has always fascinated me. Imagine being able to search over the full text of pages you've visited online and finding that one particular quote you remember reading somewhere months ago. Imagine always knowing exactly where you saw something online, like that priceless YouTube video of your friend attempting to perform dance moves from a bygone age. Better yet, imagine having this wealth of information work for you to make searching for new information easier and faster.

Today, we're pleased to announce the launch of Web History, a new feature for Google Account users that makes it easy to view and search across the pages you've visited. If you remember seeing something online, you'll be able to find it faster and from any computer with Web History. Web History lets you look back in time, revisit the sites you've browsed, and search over the full text of pages you've seen. It's your slice of the web, at your fingertips.

How does Web History work? All you need is a Google Account and the Google Toolbar with PageRank enabled. The Toolbar, as part of your browser, helps us associate the pages you visit with your Google Account. If you're currently a Search History user, you'll notice that we've renamed Search History to Web History to reflect this new functionality. Review of 04/21/2007 to 04/14/2007

  Ken and Russell got the hell out of here.  They did not want to be here when the sales associate got here with the people to show them the condo.  I do not blame them for wanting to run and hide.
  The sales man showed up with a white couple about my age.  The lady was huffing trying to make it up one flight of stairs.  I know the feeling.
  They were here for less than 2 minutes, maybe less than 1 minute, and they left the place running.  I think I heard them say something about going to the health department to get shots.
  
  Jimmy called and him and his wife are having problems.  He is talking about leaving her.  This may not happen.  He does not think she cares for him.  They do not have much time with each other.  She works all the time. 
  I think she does care for him.  I worry about Jimmy.  Jimmy is thinking about moving to Texas.  He wants to come to FL.  But his mother, my ex-wife, is having problems.  She can’t walk right now.  She is having to pay a woman to go to the mail box for her and to the post office.  Darlene has a “boy friend” but he is of no help.  Jimmy would be a big help to her and save her some money.
   Darlene had to go to the hospital, because of her leg, and had to go by ambulance.  Getting home cost her over $50.00 for transportation. 
   Darlene calls me one or two times each day.  She calls her mother x number of times each day and she calls help lines often.  This is not just since she can not walk..it is “normal” for her.

   Russell has a social life.  He does not want me to go into any details or say anything.  Russell has made great progress since he moved to FL.  I had some concerns about him but I am sure everything is going to be OK now.

  Now a review of some of my past posts:

  On Cho Seung-hui I stand by everything I said.  It does appear from the information out that he had some sort of very bad mental condition.  He was just like a time bomb waiting to go off. 
   He did an evil and bad thing.  He would be guilty under American law but I do not think he had much control over things.  He was damaged goods for some reason and it sounds like he was broken all his life. 
   We need to do more to help people with mental problems. 
   We do need improvements on gun control.  I say again that we need a three day waiting period during which a complete check is done on the subject.  There is no way he would have passed a back ground check.

    On video I am not running uStream all the time now.  I have started running Stickem for video.  But with both uStream and Stickem you can not be nude on camera so sometimes I turn them off and I run CameraWare if I am in the mood to not have on pants.
     With my prostate and bladder problems it is more easy to go to the bathroom if I don’t have to worry about getting my pants wet.  (I often do not have a good stream.  Men will understand.  Woman will not.)
     Also my feet and legs swell up often.. I do not like tight pants and shirts and like to have on sweats but the sweats cut into my swollen legs.  So I just like to be pants less often.  Maybe one day I will find a streaming site that does not care if I have pants on our not.  It is not like I get an erection or masturbate in front of the camera.

      I did not make it out of the house this week.  Two days I was waiting for packages for Ken.  I also am sort of broke and when I go someplace I like to have a few dollars to spend on food and stuff like that.. I do hope to get out next week to the Haulover Beach, the zoo and other places.  I will send back an instant photo with my Palm Treo and you will know where I am at and what I am going and when I get home I will have lots of photos.

      I installed Alexa again on my computer and my anti virus software when nuts on me and demand that I stop and remove it.. Smoke started coming out of the CPU of the computer and I decided I had better listen to BitDefender.

NASA Press Conference

    I am so fucking mad.   My heart is pounding like crazy.
I was switching from channel to channel on TV.  I came to FOX news and they had a press conference about the NASA shooting.  I have no idea who the people were sitting up there.  I don’t know their names or titles or anything.
     Anyway a woman reporter ask a question.  She said do you have any plans to put into effect some security because the shooter if he had decided to do the shooting yesterday could have walked into the control room during the landing operation and started shooting and who knows what effect that could have had.
     Suit on the right end of the table speaking for the group said..something to the effect that they could not search people or take other steps because people had a right to privacy and from un-reasonable search.
      What the FUCK?  What the FUCK.  
      I had to turn off the fucking TV.  I wish now I had kept on watching to get his name and position. 

      That man saying that and holding a management position with NASA shows that there are some very bad problems with NASA that need to be corrected right now.  First someone needs to escort him off the stage and to an office and ask him just what the hell did you say and did you mean to say..
       I suspect he would say..something to the effect..Well I am an NRA member and I am going to carry my gun to work with me.  I would be willing to bet money..he is an NRA member and that is his position and that is what is reply was all about.
      They can’t fucking check people for guns that are entering NASA.
      NASA should never have been put in Texas to start with if you ask me.
     
      I am going to try and find the press conference and record that part and I think I am going to make a video for YouTube and I am going to go fucking nuts yelling and screaming.
      I can not fucking believe that guy.
      He should be escorted to his office and watched by security as he gets his personal items and then escorted off of the NASA site and given a trespass warning to never return.

SnagIt

  Over the years I have paid for a number of screen capture programs.  I been using FastStone Capture.  It is excellent.  Well I just downloaded SnagIt.  You can use it free for 30 days and after that it is $40.00 to use the program.  That is a lot of money for me.  But I am going to have to pay the money.  It is a super program.  It will capture video from the desktop.  It just does everything.  I have no idea of the real power of the program but I can see it is the best I have seen. 

  Now FastStone Capture is very good and it is free unless you use it for commerical reasons.  Then it is $30.00 to use the program.  It is excellent and free.  If you use it you might make a donation to them.  Keep them improving it and making other software.

   The price is right and FastStone Capture is excellent but I am going to be paying for SnagIt.  I guess I will not eat one week next month.
 
    There is another program I am going to have to pay for and it is $40.00 and I got to come up with $40.00 for it.  It is BlogJet.  It is an off line editor that I use for writing stuff for the blog.  In the past I would log into TypePad and write it with their editor.  Sometimes my computer would lock up or I would have some sort of problem.  So I started writing off line.  I now use BlogJet. It saves copies for me and all sorts of extras.  Pretty neat program.
    I have an excellent program for posting to Howard's Notebook.  It is called Blogg-X and it is free.   

    

TrainStream

Live feed from an Acela Express Amtrak train from Baltimore to Boston.
I watched a live feed from an Amtrak train.  Things are moving fast on the Internet and a lot of progress is being made in streaming video.  Now I need a lap top so I can stream video here as I walk and ride around Miami.  How could I get by streaming video from Haulover Nude Beach?  Do you think they would just think I was typing on a lap top?

  Len is not sending out streaming video right now.  I am sure he will do it again soon.

PHP Training

  I am not sure how many of you have heard of PHP.  I guess many of you have heard me talking about it here because I have used PHPNuke and Joomla software and other software that is PHP driven.
  I love the PHP software but I do not know how to write or work with the PHP software.  I got a book on the subject of PHP but it might as well be in Greek.  I been telling Russell he should get PHP training.

  I would like to see Russell get the training.  Hell I wish I could get the training.  I could make a lot of money just writing little additions to PHPNuke or Joomla or doing templates.

 

Rep. John Doolittle

  How could a guy with the name of “Doolittle” get elected to office?
Well Rep. John Doolittle has been elected nine times as a California Republican.  He has stepped down from the House Appropriations Committee.  The FBI searched his house on Friday.  Investigators are looking into influence-peddling.
  He should resign from congress.

  It is funny how the news people do not seem like they can cover more than one big story at a time.  The horror at Virginia Tech is a big story but other major news took place in the last few days.
  One was the major bombing in Bagdad.  I think it was about 150 in one bombing.
  Then the major Supreme Court ruling upholding a federal ban on late-term abortion procedures.
  We have had some major news in the last few days but all we hear about is Virginia Tech.  I have not been hearing anything about Anna Nicole Smith (thank God). 
 
  I took the webcam off the front page of ShowMeBlog.  It looks to me like very few people are interested in the webcam.  I never have very many watching the webcam.
  At one time having a webcam was a big deal and people liked to watch webcam sites.  I think now with YouTube and all the video and all new things happening ..that a webcam is sort of old hat now. 
  I think your going to see less live webcam from me and more videos.  I hope your going to see better videos and not just more videos.
  I plan to get a digital camcorder soon and want to try and make better videos.  So you will be seeing my attempt soon.

  We all are worrying about some copy cat killers now.  I think the press has done a pretty good job of reporting on Virginia Tech.  I think they will start cutting donw from now on and that will be welcome.
  I hope that VT does a major increase in security.  I know it is going to remind everyone about what happened but believe me they need to increase security right there and right now.  When something like this happens…you get nuts that will up at that location.  They need to keep an extra special watch for a short period of time.
  But odds are if we have a copy cat it will be someplace else.
  Let us all pray and hope that it does not happen.  It is going to be important for the police and everyone to be watching and looking for some time now.

  They are saying now that the VT killer was the victim of bullying in high school.  That is something that we need to work about trying to fix.  I know it is hard but we need to try and put a stop to school bullying. It seems that some victim's of bullying turn to lethal violence in school or in this case, maybe, later in college.
