Off My Diet

  I am off my diet.  I ran out of my food.  Ken and Russ have lots of left over pizza so I been eating pizza.  Yesterday was a bad day for the chest pain.  I stayed in bed for a good part of the day.  I was better late at night.
  Today is St. Patrick's Day.  Happy Saint Patrick's Day to all.  My family, Keegan, came from County Cork many years ago. 
  St. Patrick's Day is a big day in Kansas City.  Here in Miami it is just another day.  There will be lots of drinking in "pubs" (bars) and they will use this day as an excuse..but down here they like to party, drink and do drugs and they will use anything for an excuse.  Now if St. Patrick was Cuban it would be a big day here in Miami.

 

Date of my death

Remember I posted the date of my death here in the past. 
I reported here on 08/08/2004 that the the DeathClock said I would die at age 73.  (I am 66 on the 26th of this month).  I just did the test again and it gives a date this time and the date is Sunday January 5 of 2014.
  The Date4Death site this time says that I will die on Thursday March 30, 2028 at the age of 87.  I LIKE that site.  The site says that Queen Elizabeth will die on the same day at age 102. 
  If I do not get in and have the heart doctor do those tests on me I do not think I will make it to see my birthday next year. 

  If I could get the heart problems taken care of I could go back to work.  If I were working, even part time, I would not have any money problems and I could spent some money on high tech toys.  Not a bad way for me to spend the last days of my life.  But right now..I am broke and I will be broke unless I get a job.
  With the prostate problem I could not take any job.  It would have to be a job were I could get to a bathroom without delay and often.  Right now with the heart problems I can't do anything.  I switched speakers on my computer yesterday and got bad heart pains and was pretty much fucked and was walking the floor wondering if I needed to call 911.  If going down stairs to the mail box is enough to make me have to lay down and wonder if this is the "big one."  If your watching ShowMeCam, my webcam, and you see me lay face down in the bed in the middle of the day it is because.. I just went to the mail box or took a bag of trash to the trash can and I am having chest pain and wondering if this is it.  If you see me on my back, on the bed, then I am watching TV.  I may still be having chest pains but I am trying to forget about it. 

  I made a change and have moved my ham site to TypePad.  So CQ CQ de NØUWY is now set up with TypePad.  One thing it should get indexed well by Google with the new location. 

Lost 5 pounds

  I am back at 200 pounds.  So I lost 5 pounds.  My goal now is to lose 10 more pounds.  I am going to try it by just eating diet TV dinners.  When I was a teenager all I ate was TV turkey dinners.  So for years I looked like a bag of bones.  My weight for years and years was 115 pounds.  Now I am not recommending such a diet to anyone because I do not think it contains everything you need in your system.
  Hell I know it does not because when I was called to have an exam to get into the military.  Out of 200 nude guys the doctor came over to me and asked me if I had been sick and if I was OK.  I was 40 pounds under the lowest weight they would take into the military.  So I was rejected for military service. 
  So I am going to try that diet.  I am going to try and eat diet TV dinners.  Oh I will chow down on something else from time to time.  I had just a two day old left over piece of pizza. 

  CQ de NØUWY is taking a long time to access.  I have no idea right now what the problem is with that site.  I put a lot of hard work into the site for the last few days and now ..so sort of problem.  I will see if I can find out what the heck is going on with the site.

NYC Mugger

"Right now, he's known only as the man whose face is seen on the same grainy video in which he's shown pummeling a 101-year-old woman, knocking her and her walker to the floor. He got away with 33 bucks. But the brutality of the mugging has outraged even crime-hardened New Yorkers -- and they want this guy's head..."  CNN Story

  It is an interesting story.  A petty cheap punk is caught on surveillance tape mugging a 101 year old woman and stealing 33 dollars.  He hits her and knocks her down when he did not have to do it.  She seems in pretty good shape for a 101 year old woman and is interviewed on TV.
  Well this "brutal mugger" now has a manhunt our for him.  Everyone hopes when the police get to him that he puts up a fight and the police can shoot him or beat the living crap out of him.

  I found a new site. 

  It is like CafePress but it is much better organized. I have been signed up with a shop on CafePress for years.  I was one of the first to sign up.  I have sold almost nothing via the shop.  I had a few people sign up via my shop.  One of the people sells a few items and I get a few dollars each month from their sales.
  Use the link above to check out Zazzle.  If you have a web site sign up.  If you sell things anyplace, on line or a real shop, sign up with them.  I just signed up a few minutes ago.
  I have not created any product but I think with them I could do it.  It is easy to create them and they got a lot of neat stuff.
  If you do not sign up with them feel free to create a photo or something with PhotoShop and send it to me and I will check it out and maybe use it for a mug, button or keychain or something.
  Hay..  how about you guys create some designs and content for bumper stickers.  That might be fun.
  I wish i was good at creating a product.  My brain does not work like that...

times a month they needed wheels. I could see some urban dwellers
being able to get rid of a car and using this service. But that takes
a mental shift that most car owners have a hard time making - cars
are sort of addictive once you've been used to using one regularly.

   It looks like an excellent idea to me.  I do not think it would work in Miami however because the people here are crazy.  I think it some Latin macho thing.. people drive like they are on drugs.  Hell maybe that is why they drive the way they do.
  If there were a HourCar service I would sign up for it for sure.

Is The War in Iraq Lost?

 

  Rolling Stone got a panel of experts convened and they lay out what they think will happen in Iraq.  The one thing they agree on is that the war in Iraq is lost now.

  What I  see happening is civil war in Iraq.  Total anarchy.  An strong man just like Suddam will come to power and we will have an anti-American and anti-West Iraq with blood shed happening.  It will be like Lebanon was times 100.  I see it lasting for 10 to 15 years.  It will be a hell on earth and it will destroy Iraq.
  It will create major dangers for the United States and  all the nations around the world. 
  In Lebanon after years and years of internal fighting and being a total mess Syria moved into Iraq and by force gave the nation some peace from the anarchy but with no freedom and with their nation under the control of Syria.  The same thing may happen with Iraq.  Iran or some other nation or nations may move into Iraq and wage total war on Iraq and end the anarchy but Iraq would not be free.  Iraq would just be a slave state of the nation that took it over.
  Bush took us to war with Iraq when we should not have gone to war.  He lied to get us into the war.  But his major crime maybe that he did not do what was necessary to win the war.  We should have sent in 300,000 to 500,000 troops.  I think it would have taken the higher number to take total control. 

Money from the past

  Health Midwest (aka Research Medical Center) is doing away with their retirement plan.  I will still get my $175.00 each month but they are sending me $1970.00 in about a month to close out a small amount of money due me.
  They will with hold 20% of that for taxes.  I should have it in about a month.  I am going to give Ken $1000.00 for him to hold and use for the next move we make.  He has been saying that I had to come up with $1000.00 for moving money and telling me that I needed to save it.  Well there is no way I could save any money on the small amount of money I get each month.  So now he will have the money and when we have to move I will not have to come up with that amount of money.

  I am still at 205 pounds.  I do feel better however.  Before I was eating like three or four Polish hot dogs each day.  Now I am just eating diet TV dinners.  I have not lost weight but I feel better.

  I was up about 4 AM to day and spent hour after hour working on the ShowMeCam web site.  It is looking good but I still need to work on it. 

  I am out of money again..but I got food in the ice box.  I got my medications.  I got Coke.  I got a roof over my head and I got a bed so all is OK with the world.  It is hard for me to manage my money when I just get it one time a month.  Hell I was not good at money management when I got paid each two weeks.  Getting money just one time a month is hard.  I better learn to do it since it looks like this is the way it is going to be from now on.
