Whale Rider

The subject of this post is "Whale Rider."  No I am not talking about when I had sex with a girl friend.  I am talking about the movie.  I watched it tonight.  That was a waste of time.  I should have been doing something else.

I also watched "Me and You and Everyone We Know" and it was excellent.

I got to love a movie were a teenage boy gets a blow job from two teenage girls at the same time.

Russell went to the movies and saw; "Night at the Museum" and he said it was very good.  It looks excellent I will wait to see it on DVD but I am looking forward to seeing it.

Last night Ken called me on the telephone and told me to close the door to my room and not to come out until he said it was OK.  He said he had a gift that he wanted to bring in and did not want me to see it.
This from a kid that used to tear holes in the gift wrap of Christmas gifts and say that a mouse had done it.  Ken was not alone in doing it.  He learned it from his older sisters (LaDawna and Hilary).  We did not have mice of course.  That is when Darlene and I were married.  The kids always got lots of gifts.  Darlene was a big Christmas person. 

I don't understand how people can be so rude.  It is 1:13 am (0113) and there are people out in the parking lot talking and laughing loud.  The been out there talking for about two hours. 

I did not win the FL lottery.  The jackpot is now $14 million.  I had one ticket for the but did not even get one number. 
If I won the $14 million jackpot I would get about $7 million.  (Taxes would get the other $7 million.)  If I would take one million and invest it and take the interest from it each year to live on.  I would set it up after I died that the interest would go each year to help people.  I would take one million and buy a bunch of things.  I love to buy things and I don't have anything now.  So I would be in the market for a place to live, car and lots of other things.  I would take two million and setup a foundation that LaDawna could run.  It would be a private foundation and she could do whatever she wanted with the money.  I would take one million and give it away to family and friends.  That would leave one million for me to find some good cause or use to do with the money.  I might just give it all to one friend. 
I do not expect to win.  It could happen.  If it does you will read about it right here in the blog.

Little + people + big + world + pumpkin + accident

I told Ken today about the "Little People, Big World" show last week.  I told him about all the hits (traffic) I got to the blog after the show last week.  I told him that traffic was almost back to normal.
Well I was wrong.  Tonight they re-broadcast the show from last week.  Hits are back up. 

Ken went out and got a bunch of cleaning supplies and has been cleaning his room. 
Ken also said that he wants to rent a house for sure.  He wants to rent one right in this area.  He called a few real estate people today.

Darlene is spending the weekend over at her boy friend's place.

I am back at 200 pounds.  The swelling on my feet has gone down.  I think they are normal now.  I have got to stay away from salt. 

It is now December 24th of 2006.  It is Christmas eve. 

Ken is home

Ken's flight was one hour late.  Russell did not take his key to work and he was locked out until we got home.
So Russ did not get into the house until about 2200 hours and he has to be at work at 0500 hours.
Today was pay day and Russ got a camera.  He got a couple of extras for it and and he got the employee discount.  I am trying to talk him into selling it to me. 

Ken has been in AZ for three months.  He had maid service and it is a shock to come back to this place now.  His motel bill for three months was $5K.  The company, of course, paid the entire amount.  Plus he was being paid and getting and extra $500.00 a week.

Ken went out to get some food for us. 
I got a web site I need to work on for a guy.

Ft lauderdale/Hollywood FLL

I have to pick up Ken at the Ft Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport in just a few hours.  He has completed his school for the new job.  He will have a few days off and then he will start the new job.  I will drive Ken's car to pick him up and he can drive back.  Before he left two months ago he filled the tank.  Russ filled the tank one time after that and it still has a full tank of gas.

My weight is back at 200 pounds.  My feet are not swollen as bad today.
I am very tired.  I need to get to the lab and have blood work done before the appointment with the doctor.  I am not going to cancel this time.  I did not see the heart doctor like he told me to do..I will see one next year.

Wah-Wah

I watched "Wah-Wah" on DVD today. 

Full Synopsis:

"Actor and author Richard E. Grant made his directorial debut with this period comedy drama inspired by his own experiences growing up in colonial Africa in the sixties. A movie about a drunk father is not my cup of tea.  I had both a drunk father and mother.  I don't need to watch a movie about the subject.

Tomorrow, well today now, I pick up Ken at the airport.  He is looking forward to getting back to FL.  I don't have a cell phone and asked Russ if I could use his cell phone when I go to pick up Ken.  Russ does not seem very keen on the idea.
I am not sure if the storm in CO is going to have any effect on Ken's travel or not.  Ken is in AZ.  But Denver is shut down and they expect it to open at noon tomorrow (today now). 

Thumbsucker

I just watched "Thumbsucker" on DVD.  Your expecting me to say something about Bush being a thumbsucking, bed wetting scum bag because he had a news conference today.  But I am going to surprise you and not call him any of those names.
The movie is not my type of movie.  I think a lot of people would like it.  I would rate it a 6 on a scale of 1 to 10.
(I would rate Bush a 1 on a scale of 1 to 10.  1 would be "how in the hell did we elect someone like this shit bag.  10 would be a Washington, Lincoln, FDR and Harry S. Truman.)  OK OK..I am from Missouri.  HST maybe only a 9.

I did not win the $6 million lottery tonight but the next one will be for $10 million.  I could help a lot more people with $10 million.

Bee Season

I just watched "Bee Season" on DVD.  It was not my type of movie.  I would give it a 5 on a scale of 1 to 10. 

Happy as a kid in a candy store

I feel better today.  Today I got $32.00 put into my account.  It was commission on adult videos from last month.  I got a new template and I enjoy seeing what I can get them to do on a site.  I am setting it up on Show Me Magazine. 
I went to the store and got $40.00 worth of food. 
I had problems getting my shoes on because of my swollen feet.  I am still at 205 pounds.  But I am feeling good.

Blockbuster has shipped "Bee Season" and "Thumbsucker" to me but I have not got them yet. 

DotNetNuke 4.3.5

You know how much I like playing with software.  Well I would like playing with hardware but I can not afford hardware.
There is a program called:  DotNetNuke and I may install and play with it. I may us that program with the domain name:  showmecam.us  so if you have a link for that and you see something strange one of these days you will know that Jim is playing around.

Update: 12/21/2006 I tested the system on the DoNetNuke site.  You can set up a 24 hour demo site.  I then installed it on a site of mine.  The demo site had problems as soon as I started to use it.  The install on my site never did work correct.  My recommendation is stay away from DoNetNuke.
