99 Years Old

  Dick's mother is going to be 99 years old soon.  That is a long life.  If I were to live to 99 years of age that I would mean that I would live another 34 years.  Think of all the things that Dick's mother has seen in 99 years.  Think of the changes I would see if I were to live for 34 more years.
  Troy and his family are doing OK after the loss of his dad.  They miss him a great deal.  Troy's dad (Jim) was a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.  The Cardinals are in the World Series this year.  He would have loved to have seen them play.  (Maybe he can watch them..if you believe in God maybe he had something to do with them winning this year.)
  Russell ended up with 15 plus hours of over time.  That is a no no were he works.  They never want anyone to work over time for any reason.  He told his supervisor a few days ago that he was 31 hours for the week and he still ended up with 15 plus hours of over time. 
 
  Today I had two people find this blog via YouTube.  It is rare for anyone to go to YouTube or CameraWare and then find my stuff and then click and come here.  All the hits for this site are from people doing a search for something.  I wonder how many hits each day this site would get if we were not listed on Google, Yahoo and other search sites. 
  I have three videos on MSN SoapBox and almost no one is watching them.  Well one video got 8 viewers.  I am not sure if that is because SoapBox is in beta or if there is some other reason. 

 

Howard's Notebook

  I been working hard on Howard's Notebook.  It is starting to look very good.  It still needs a great deal of work.  I love the software.  They have a new beta version out but it needs a complete new install and then you need to try and move your data over to the new install.  I am not ready for that.
  One thing I don't like about the software is that the url for links is not friendly to a person and to search sites.  There are some things you can do to try and fix it but they are a bit over my head. 

  I have been feeling pretty good. 

  Russell is working extra today.  They are working on making the "hardware" section better. The hardware section is the big screen TV area and stuff like that...Russ has been working hard on the area for the last few days.  The boss is going to give away some gifts to the guys working on it today.  I hope Russ will come home with a nice item.  I hope it is something nice and he will give it to me.  Smile

Show Me God

 

If on Yahoo Search you were to enter "Show Me God" where do you think Yahoo Search  would send you?  Would they send you to the Vatican web site? 
  Well the correct answer is they would send you to ShowMeBlog.  Well since God maybe watching me the truth is we are only number 4 and 6 on the list.

 

I went to the store today (Publix) and got $85 worth of food.  It does not seem like that much food for that much money.  It should last me a few days.  I got  two large things of cottage cheese.  I ate one of them today.  I got a feeling that maybe a person should not eat an entire thing of cottage cheese in one day.  It sure is nice to have food and drink in the ice box.

  They had Russell work 5 hours today and they are going to work him 5 hours tomorrow.  They do not like to pay over time.  Then he should be off on Saturday and Sunday but they are going to work him 5 hours on Saturday and then he has a two hour meeting on Sunday. 

  I sold my Palm TX and I sent it today.  So I left the house today without a Palm device.  I felt naked.  But I also felt lost.  If someone asks me my name I know my name.  I am not that far gone.  If they ask my address.  I do not know my address.  I can look in my bill fold on my ID and give them my address.  If they ask my phone number I have no idea.  The Palm device was my brain.  I have had one with me for years and years.
  My mother had Alzheimer's disease and I do not want to have that happen to my children.  Well it would not be bad for Russell and Ken as they would just drop me off at the beach and leave me.  Now they would not have to worry about taking my Palm device.
  By the way Hilary, my daughter, is the one that moved in and took care of my mother when she had Alzheimer's disease and she took care of her until my mother died.

Two weeks ago, The Daily Show's Jason Jones filed this story, taking a closer look at what it means to be the man in the trench coat. In some ways, the nearly ten minutes of unused footage is even better than what actually made it onto the air.

This spurred some creepy old bald dude to record his thoughts on the whole matter from his basement, and then upload the video onto YouTube. Definitely check out the comments section if you follow the link. The guy also has a blog that's pretty lame.

  Now a few comments from me...I do not think I am creepy.  I do not go around in a trench coat watching teen age boys jack off.  I do not follow them home and ask them about jacking off. 
  Now about my blog being "pretty lame"...
  Well Carl Monday is an "Investigative Reporter" and on TV and has been the subject of a story on The Daily Show and his blog has a PageRank of 4.  That same PageRank as my ShowMeBlog.
  Also Carl Monday is an "Investigative Reporter" and I can spell better than he can spell.  And all of the readers of ShowMeBlog know that I do not smell spell very well. 

 

Habeas corpus DEAD in U.S.A.

  One of the very basic and most imporant freedoms is now dead in the United States.  Bush killed it.  The Writ of Habeas Corpus is dead.  Maybe the most important law for safeguarding of our freedoms was killed by Bush and the GOP congress.

I am rich

 

I sold my Palm TX.  That is a great Palm device.  I did not want to sell it. I needed the money.  I will be sorry I sold it.  I sold it on eBay for $200.00 and I had shipping listed as $19.00 for it.  A guy said he was willing to do the take it now deal if I would lower the shipping to $10.00 and I said I would lower to $13.00 for shipping.  So he took the deal. 
I am sure you all know eBay is excellent and PayPal works out well.  I know a lot of you, for many reasons, do not like PayPal.  But I got my money right away and tomorrow I can eat for the first time in a week or two.  OK OK.. I been eating something for the last two weeks.  I know I been eating something because I am at 194 pounds.
  I packed up the Palm TX for the guy and used PayPal to print out the lable for it.  With the options I picked for shipping...anyone want to guess what it cost me to ship it?   It cost me just over $25.00 to ship it.
  But tomorrow I will get to eat.  Now the question is what do I sell next month... I do not have much left to sell. I will have to start selling body parts.
 

Education and School Loans

 

Ken has $9K in school loans and that seems like a lot of money to me.  He said that the people he is going to school with now, they are all hired and doing 10 weeks of job training, have school loans of $60K and some have $80K in school loans.  He is working with one guy that has $150K in school loans.
  Ken is in AZ and taking the 10 weeks of training and at the same time doing on line college classes.  So all he is doing is studying.  This job training if you fail one test three times your fired.

Google PageRank 4

I now have a Google PageRank of 4 here.  That is pretty good.  Sometimes it still shows up as a 3 and I am not sure why it would be a 4 and sometimes a 3. 

TSPY_Small

 

The TSPY_small trojan horse just seems to effect IE.  It does not seem to effect FoxFire.  But I still made attempts to get rid of it.  I have not had any luck yet.
  I hate the people that create and put out shit like that.. but these people, I think, I can understand..they direct you to sites to sell you porn or other stuff.  I think someone created it to get hits to their site or some site the could make money from.  I would still like to get my hands on them and beat the shit out of them.

  I called today to have them turn off all cable TV.  I was going to just keep the high speed cable modem service.  But they charge extra if you don't have the TV service and after all was done I told them to just leave the service as it is now.  I may later do away with the TV service.  The difference was about $30.00 and I do enjoy TV but I also enjoy eating.  I could eat for a week on $30.00 and I do like to eat. 

  I talked on the telephone to Darlene, my ex-wife, today.  She calls me everyday.  She talks about her "boy friend."  She is depressed.
 
  MSN SoapBox looks good. I got a couple of vidoes uploaded to the site.  I had a few problems getting them uploaded.  But the service is beta and I suspect they made it open to a lot of people at the same time and tons of people were trying to upload.  That is my guess.
  They do not support DivX.  That is an excellent compression program. 

MSN SoapBox

  The two guys that owned YouTube may have been smart to sell last week for 1 billion dollars.  MSN is now out with their SoapBox beta.  That is their attempt at doing the YouTube thing.
  I am signed up and am uploading my first video to SoapBox right now. 
  It looks good.

  I know we all love to hate MSN.  I like the look of SoapBox.  It is set up very next looking.  Now the service is beta so it will have some bugs and it will get better I am sure.
  They just opened it up to a lot more people.  That maybe the reason that I have been uploading a 84.1 GB file for over an hour. They also don't show how far along you are in the upload.
