    The new season of "Little People Big World" starts in about 30 minutes.  It is on TLC.  I am a fan of the show.  I am not sure why I like it but I do.

Russ and Ken

  Russell got a promotion at work.  He did not ask how much more money he is going to get.  The boss even said to him you don't seem all excited about the promotion.  He should have said something like tell me how much extra I am getting and I may get excited or something like that...
 
  Ken will fly out of here on Monday for 10 weeks of training in AZ.  He packed up his stuff into boxes in case we have to move before he gets back from AZ.  
  The owner has been thinking about moving into this place.  The owner is also thinking about selling it. I hope we don't have to move until Ken gets back.

  I been working on the blog here and on Howard's Notebook.  I am making some improvements to both of them.

This site is going to be messed up ... I am trying to add improvements and more powerful functions to it.  But during the time I am working on it.. Your going to have some problems..
  Right now.. You will see a couple of reports about the wrong KEY.  I am working on the problem..

AnyWebCam and ShowMeCam

  I am now using AnyWebCam to send out video for ShowMeCam.  First the good news about doing video using AnyWebCam is that it streams out the video and has no bad effect on my computer.  So my video goes out streaming at 2 or 3 fps. 
 
  Now the bad news is that the video you see is not as sharp and clear.  You know with the subject matter (me) maybe that is good news. 
  Now there is a way you can see very clear video and see it even faster than the 2 or 3 fps but that means you have to join AnyWebCam.
  I do not want you to have to pay to see me so I am not asking you to sign up.  You can try it for a few days for free by the way.  But if your thing is watching webcams to see adult/porn stuff then AnyWebCam is excellent.  You can watch 10 people at one time plus they have all sorts of other things that you can do.  Right now as I write this (0700 hours) there are 31 females sending out video, 16 couples and 227 males.
  Now there is an additional plus for me and that is if you click and sign up from my link I get a commission.  It does not cost you extra but I get a small commission on any sign ups that take place.

A few weeks ago, an exceedingly cruel prank hit dozens of users of the Craigslist personals.

In The Craigslist Experiment, Seattle web developer Jason Fortuny (shown in the photo at left) posted a phony, sexually explicit listing in which he took on the identity of a female submissive seeking rough sex. When replies came in, he posted the personally identifying information of each respondent (including photos, real names, and real-world contact info) to a wiki.

Similarly malicious internet creeps followed Fortuny's lead, including copycat Michael Crook, who "pretexted" additional personal info from would-be respondents. Fortuny and his griefer kin have since received harsh criticism from many corners of the online world, and IMHO, rightly so..."

  All I can say is holy shit! 

  When I checked the link with the information was still on line.

  I am not sure what to think about it.  I have made it a rule since June of 1982 to never give up any information about anyone.  So to go out like that and trick people and then publish the most personal information about the with name, address and photos and everything.. Well it just blows my mind.  I wonder what the victims are feeling. 

RoboForm Sucks

  I been using RoboForm for years.  It has been excellent software for me.  It is a password manager, form filler and more.  But they have a security system in effect to keep you from installing on x number of computers.  I forget what the number is but I format my computer often and from time to time have excelled the limit and I have to have them re-set the counter or what ever the fuck they do. 
  As you know I have formatted the system here about 4 times in the last few weeks.  Well I could not re-install RoboForm again.

 

  I could contact them and have them do a re-set but I am tired of fucking with them.  I paid for the software and I should not have to jump thru hoops with them.  I took it off my computer and I sent them a message saying fuck them.  When I get time I am going to setup on ShowMeBlog and Howard's Notebook a list of people and organizations that I think suck.  Can you think of a good name for the lists?  jhoward@hnbbs.net

Troy's father

  For many years I lived next door to some people.  Jimmy and I got to know them very well.  Often, here in America, you do not know who lives next to you but we got to know the family very well. 
  Jimmy was very close to Troy that lived next door.  Troy was a couple of years younger than Jimmy but they were very close.
  Troy's father (Jim) was six months younger than me.  He had some very bad health problems for years.  It was heart problems and later cancer. 
  Jim, Troy's dad, was a very kind man.  He was a very hard worker all his life.  Even when he was very sick he still worked.  He was a fighter when it came to life and he put up a fight to live.  But he died, at home, about 0400 today. 
  Jim loved his family very much.  He was a big fan of the St. Louis baseball time. 
  He had to listen to his team on the radio out side smoking.  Now he can watch over his family from heaven and have a seat on the first baseline of his team at all home games and at all games on the road.
 
 

Active WebCam

  I am back streaming video.  I am using Active WebCam program.  I may also use WebCamXP.  I need to see which of these programs puts less of a drain on my system.
  I am thinking now that maybe an increase in memory on this computer would help.  If your in the mood to donate visit my WishList and you can order memory for my computer.
  I am not sure how long I will keep streaming video.  It just depends on if I can use my computer and stream video at the same time.

  Ken has one more day to work.  Then he is off for the weekend.  Then on Monday I will take him to the airport and he will fly to AZ for 10 weeks of training. 

  I have started doing a number of videos for YouTube.  I got a couple of nice messages from people saying they liked my videos and please do more.  I do not think I have done a good job yet but it will make me try harder and try and do better.
  When I record a video I will have to take ShowMeCam off line during the time I record it.  So if from time to time you find ShowMeCam not up that maybe the reason.
