Miracle Dogs

I just watched "Miracle Dogs", I guess a made for TV movie, and I feel like I just watched an info commercial for Cleveland Clinic.  A cute little movie for little kids.
But it was a big commercial for the Cleveland Clinic.  They used some of the staff for the movie.  They would have been better off using actors.  You could also tell that the hospital staff and their PR department edited the story. 
All the actors, except the dogs, did a very poor job.  Most of all Kate Jackson who was the new assistant hospital administrator.  It was not here fault.  It was the story and the part she was playing and the lines she had to say etc. 
Now the following, keep in mind that I worked hospital security for 30 years, things just were so unreal...One there is not just one guy that works in the basement.  There would be a staff working two or three shifts...Also security makes rounds all over the hospital and into all areas from the roof to the basement..There were a lot of things like that.
Also the people did not look or sound like doctors or hospital staff..the office of the assistant hospital administrator did not look like the type of office such a person would have etc.
Again a cute little movies, with dogs, for kids.

Saint Ralph

I just watched "Saint Ralph" (Vongo) and it was excellent.  Just my sort of movie.  Story about a young boy going to a Catholic school.  Also Canada seems to make excellent movies about kids and life. 
It reminds me of "Wide Awake",  "Lucas" and "Rudy."  It is a movie that I will watch again someday.  That reminds me it is about time for me to watch "Lacas" again. Sometimes with movies like this they have a problem with the ending.  They did an excellent job on the ending and the music during the end of the race and at the end was excellent. 

Lakposhtha ham parvaz mikonand

I got "Munich" on DVD today.  It was an OK movie but I had seen the first version and this was just like it.  So I knew the story and what was going to happen. 

I watched "Turtles can Fly" (Vongo) and it was my sort of movie.  It was a movie made by Iran/Iraq and is the first movie made after the fall of Sadam in Iraq.  It was interesting seeing how people live.  All of the child actors in the movie were actual refugees. 

President Bush on Vacation Again

All must be right with the world because Bush is off on vacation for 9 days in Texas.

eBay Store

Darlene called me last night.  She spent most of the time talking about her boy friend.  She is not happy with the way things are going.  She mentioned giving up on him and moving to FL.  (I guess I better start doing some praying that they work things out.)

I sent an item on eBay and the buyer is going to get a great deal.  It went for $10.00 because I failed to start the bidding with a higher bid or to set a an amount that it had to sell at..  So someone got a good deal.  It is not the first time that I made that error.  It might pay you to watch my eBay site.

I plan to work on Howard's Notebook today.  It needs a lot of done on it.  I also need to list some more items on my eBay site.  I do not have very many things listed.

Zachary Beaver

I just watched "When Zachary Beaver Came to Town" (Vongo).  "Plot Outline: Zachary Beaver, a sideshow attraction also known as the world's fattest boy, arrives in the sleepy town of Granger, Texas."  I liked the movie. 

I cancelled the the appointment with Doctor Dansky.  I need to make an appointment with Doctor Breton. 

I been watching out the window for the mail man.  I got a package to give to the mail man.  I should just call them and tell them to pick it up and not spend the time and effort watching for the mail man. 

The Legend of Zorro

I just got done watching "The Legend of Zorro" (Vongo) and it was an OK movie.  They had a good story but  for some reason it just did not excite me.  I think I am tried of Zorro.  Now we got so many super heroes with super powers.  They did work some humor into the movie and a few of them were pretty funny.

I walked up and got my two medications.  That cost me $40.00 for a one month supply.
I am going to call and cancel the one appointment with the doctor and make an appointment with the other doctor.

I listed the All-In-Wonder Radeo 8500DV video card on eBay today.  I had a take it now price of $50.00 and someone took it at the price in less than an hour or two.

Man of the House

I watched "Man Of The House" today (via Vongo).  It was a cute, light and funny little movie.  I liked the movie.
  Later tonight I am going to walk up to CVS and get my two medications.  If I still have a refill left on them.  If I get them OK I am going to cancell the doctor's appointment on the 7th.
 

An Angel for May

  I signed up for the Vongo online movie service.   It cost $10.00 a month.  I am not sure what I think of the service.  It seems to me that I had a hard time finding any movies that I wanted to see.  I did download two movies.  The download went OK.  You can tell it to download movies at a certain time.  So I had the download take place after 2 am when we all were in bed and not using the Internet.
  One of the movies that I downloaded was "An Angel for May."  I liked the movie.  It was not great but it was my sort of movie and they did a good job on the movie.

   I have an appointment with  my Urologist on the 7th (08/07/2006).  I am thinking about canceling the appointment.  The appointment will cost me $35.00 and I know he is not going to do anything. 
  I need refills of both my medications.  I took my last Doxazosin last night and I have two Avodart.  I think I can refill each of them one more time.  If I cancel the appointment with the Urologist I will need to have my normal doctor write Rx for those medications.  A office visit to the normal doctor is $10 vs $35 for the Urologist.  The Urologist is a ass hole and my normal doctor seems very nice.

Natalie Portman

You don't think that Natalie Portman might do a search of the Internet and find my blog do you?  You don't think she might read my blog and fall in love with me do you?
Hay.. I can dream can't I? 
Russell decided to pitch in and pay this months electric bill (almost $200.00).  That was good of him and I am sure hard for him.  He loves money.  He loves to hang onto money and save it.  (I wonder how much DNA testing cost?  Maybe we should do a DNA test on him.  He does not seem like a Howard.  We love to spend money.)
Russell also is not working full time but only part time so that is a lot of money.
