Jimmy and his friend went to the parade and a concert. Jimmy took about 7 photos of the parade. He just does not take good photos. They were not interesting photos. I will not post them.
Well Jimmy was driving and the Hillsboro police did a car stop on him. He could not get into the glove box. The insurance papers were in the glove box. It has a combination lock. It was no locked..But his friend must have played with the combination or something. Jimmy could not get to the insurance papers so the officer gave him a ticket for no insurance. He can go to court and show the paper work and get it tossed out of court.
Jimmy's friend was in the passenger seat and did not have his seat belt on. The police officer gave him, Jimmy's friend, a ticket for $115.00 for no seat belt. I guess Jimmy feels bad..the 24 year old friend does not have a job and does not have the money.
Right now fireworks are being shot off. Dar is in her room on the telephone. Jimmy is in his room with the door closed. Russell is watching TV. No one wants to watch the fire works show. We can see it from our living room.
When I was in high school I had two friends and they were twins. My friends were Jerry and Larry Winship. The high school was a Catholic high school and after a year or so they asked me to be their God father. They became Catholic and I was their God father.
I stayed in touch with both of them for years. Larry I would see off and on for years. He would show up with his family at Research Belton Hospital. Jerry after a few years got married and moved to the middle of Kansas. Then his marrage broke up after a few years..but I never saw him..even when he moved back to the Kansas City area.
Well I looked him up on the Internet and found his phone number and I called him today. When he answered the phone...remember..I had not talked to him or seen him in 30 years or so...I said..Is this Jerry Winship and he said..yes..and I said..this is your God father calling to see if you have been going to church.
We talked for a few minutes. He has been in bad health for years. I will call him tomorrow and talk and try and keep in touch with him.
I called Roger tonight and talked with him. I call Roger each Saturday at 7 pm.
