Mitt Romney needs to know how to give the GOP position

  God love him.  Yes, I am talking about Mitt Romney.  He gave us a sound and video byte that we can run over and over again.  How could we ask for anything better than Mitt Romney himself saying that he did not worry about the poor.
  He is so clueless about being a rich man.  If we did not want to beat him so bad we might even feel sorry for him.

  I posted about his remark and commented on it yesterday here on ShowMeBlog.  You can even see the video of him making the statement and repeating it over and over again.  Since then he has defended the statement. 
  It must be nice to be that rich.  So rich that you do not understand things like saying you will bet someone ten thousand dollars etc.
 
  I said yesterday that the Republicans would be upset with him.  I looked at some of the evil empire blogs and yes they are pissed at him.  They are mad that he would give the Democrats the ammo to use.  The Republican Party has always been the party of the rich so when stuff like this comes up it hurts.
  It is interesting that Republican blog after Republican blog sort of made the same sort of comments on it.  They are upset that Romney did not know how “articulate” the conservative position on the issue.   In other words if he had been asked about the poor he should have come up with the right wing talking point. 

  So when asked about the poor he should have said something like “Yes, Republicans care about the poor.  It is the Communist Democrats that want to keep them poor.  We know the best way to help them out of being poor.  That is by giving tax cuts to the rich.  Then they will start businesses and that will make jobs for the poor.”
  Something like that would be the party line.  The Republicans say it is the Democrats that want people to be poor. 
  So this happening is another reason for those Republicans that hate Romney to attack him and say they want someone else.  But it looks like it is going to be Romney vs President Obama.

  If you been reading my comments about the election and about Mitt Romney you know that I been saying that Romney might have the ability to beat President Obama.  I feel better now.  I do not think Romney is as big a threat as I was thinking.
 
  I am not shape on turn outs and polling and all that but it looks like the turn out for this election was less than before in FL.  That is telling people that there just is not a real interest in turning out by the Republicans.
  Now of course there will be more of a desire when it to prevent President Obama from having a second term.  But I think deep down yes the Republicans hate President Obama with a passion but they just are going to have a hard time having any real passion for Mitt Romney.
  The election will be close but I think President Obama can win.  If we can just keep getting Mitt Romney to talk.

  Did you ever wonder what it would be like if you could go back in time and say go back to the 1850s and go to the South and visit a slave owner at his home?  I think you would find a guy like Mitt Romney.  He would be rich and have a large family and they would welcome you and they would see like very nice people.  But when you talked with them they would be just clueless about how wrong it was to own slaves.  You would be sitting there and you would just wonder how they could be in their own little world and be so out of touch with the real world.
