I am very happy with this apartment in west Fort Worth. It is the first time that I have lived in an apartment. When I lived in Orlando we rented at first a trailer and then a house. When we lived in Miami we rented a condo and then a house.
We got lucky when we rented this apartment in west Fort Worth. Just a few blocks away are some bad areas and a lot of crime.
This is a nice apartment complex and I like the office people. But they have water problems here. They have leaks all the time. It seems like all the time they have to turn off the water for a few hours to do repairs.
We got a notice on Friday that they would be turning off the water for a few hours on Monday.
Last night late I went to the mailbox over by the office and hot water was coming up from the ground running down the sidewalk on the street. There was steam because it was about 35 degrees outside.
I am not sure if it is normal or not…but they have one large, I guess, hot water heater in a room at the office. That explains why it takes so long when you turn on the hot water before you get it.
They must spend a lot of money for water bills and for repairs.
Right now I would like to do the dishes in the dish washer but no hot water.
Russell just got home from work and would like to do the laundry but he can not because no hot water.
