Stocks surged today and were up 121.07 (+1.10%). I think that will take some of the pressure off of congress. They have some breathing time.
(CNN) – Prominent conservative columnist Kathleen Parker, an early supporter of Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin, said Friday recent interviews have shown the Alaska governor is "out of her league" and should leave the GOP presidential ticket for the good of the party…
Parker's comments follow those by prominent conservatives David Brooks, George Will, and David Frum who have all publicly questioned Palin's readiness to be vice president…”
Sarah Palin is a real light weight. It would be scary if she was the vice president of the United States. We would all need to pray each day for the health and safety of John McCain.
John McCain should not win. He may win. The last few elections have been within 5% and I heard someone expert on TV the other day say that he thinks that Obama may lose 6% because of racism.
I do not see Sarah Palin leaving the ticket. She would come out of the deal in great shape. We all know her name and many of us like her.
But how would that help John McCain now? We would question his judgement. Plus the Republicans that like her and did not like John McCain would turn their back on him again.
I do not think John McCain can win the election with our without Sarah Palin.
What if she pulled out of the race today? Could John McCain come up with someone to take her place? I would feel sorry for that second choice person.
I think it is all going to come down to race. I wish that was not true.
