I am still thinking about doing away with my land line phone service and signing up with AT&T for cell phone service. Russell says I should use my Palm Treo. I would not have to buy a new phone.
Of course I am wanting a new phone like a iPhone. One reason is that it does the high speed Internet streaming. I also just found a blog with a photo taken with the iPhone. It is an excellent photo. The site From Emily To You has a entire page of iPhone photos.
My new Kodak Z712 IS camera is not working out very well. It is too big for me to carry all the time. If I can come up with $179.95 I will get a Flip Video Mino Camcorder.
Today I am going to put a WinTV Go-Plus card in my computer. I have to wait until Russell wakes up. I can not get the side panel off the computer. I will have to have the Russ man tell me how you get the panel off.
The Hauppauge WinTV card works well for watching TV on a computer. I am going to use it to feed in video from an old camcorder that I have here. I wish it was a digital camcorder but it is not. I am going to feed in the video from the camera and see how that works out for doing videos. I hope I do not mess up this computer.
Today I am also going to look at the best web based email services. I have a gmail and hotmail account plus others. I am tired of having to set up accounts all the time using POP3 and SMTP. When I set up a new computer or change ISP I have to make adjustments. It would be more simple to just log into a web site.
I am using SpamArrest to take care of all my spam. It takes care of all spam problems. I been having all non spam email that goes to jimhoward@spamarrest.com forwarded to jhoward@hnbbs.net but I think from now on I will just make all my email go to my SpamArrest account.
