A guy named George Vesel, in Kansas City, has been trying for years to get a Barbecue Hall of Fame and Museum. He is trying to get money from the National Endowment for the Humanities. No one seems interested in the idea.
The best barbecue is in Kansas City (Missouri). If you ever get to
Kansas City try out the barbecue. I have had the barbecue in Texas and
Florida and they do not come near KC barbecue.

City has $9,000.00 for the project so I do not think we are going to
see the Barbecue Hall of Fame and Museum.
I lived 59 years in
Kansas City and I do not think it is a good idea. I do not think the
National Endowment for the Humanities should give one cent. If KC
wants it, and I don't think they do, then let some local business
people come up with the money.
I do not think anyone is going
to visit KC to see such a place. Hell, I do not think the people in KC
would go visit the place. If you think about barbecue you don't want
to go to a museum you want to go and eat it.
Here in Miami I was told that the best barbecue was at Shorty's BBQ.
I went a couple of times. The first time I was not impressed by the
BBQ and I think the second time I had a hamburger. Maybe I need to try
them again. A lot of people here stay they are the best.
TonyRoma's has good barbecue. It is not as delicious as KC barbecue.
