Travel Dream - bus?

  I am not working for the first time in my life.   
  This blog is not very interesting because I lead a pretty dull life. 
  I do want to visit my daughter in Washington DC.  I have always wanted to see Washington DC.  I would like to take some photos and videos with my new camera for the blog. 
  I have had a lot of fans of ShowMeBlog say they would like to meet me.
  I wonder how it would work out if I got a Greyhound 30 day bus pass?  They call it a Discovery Pass.  A 30 days bus pass is $550.00 and that is a lot of money.  I guess I would not want to get it on the way to Washington DC for the visit with my daugher because I plan to spend  one or two weeks and that would eat up half of the pass. I guess get one as I leave Washington DC and just head out across the United States (pass is also good for Canada) and visit friends and fans of ShowMeBlog.  I would not have to be in any certain place at any certain time.  I could visit Milford in NC, Dick in MO, Nick in CA and others.  Some of them could let me spend the night and sleep on a sofa or the floor.  I could write about the visits on my blog and I could take lots of photos.  It sounds interesting.
  I would not want to travel in the winter time.
