Update

Well.. I re-booted to make sure ..I still had an Internet connection... A few small bugs.. this computer is not use to a "dail" up connection. But it looks like this is going to work. I am sending vidoe right now.. on CW. Now.. my cell phone service is 500 minutes Monday thur Friday and unlimited after 9 pm and on weekends. So..I will not be online during the day Monday thru Friday.
We hope to have DirectPC Internet service by the end of the week.

The family should move in here on Wednesday afternoon. Until then..I am here..alone.. No desk, no bed..no chair...no car...
On the floor ...is killing me.. So don't expect me to be in any chat rooms or anything.

Let me post this.. I keep worrying that I am going to get disconnected.

I am Back Baby

On Thursday....the real estate man sent his son over to help us move some boxes. His son is 25 years old and very nice. However..it was his day off and I bed he was up all night .. I don't think he wanted to be helping use. I don't blame him.
Well.. we has some boxes ready.. we got a few more... I was thinking the plan was that he would take us down, Jimmy and I, and we would unload his trailer. Well I could tell..His dad had told him.. All he had to was drop of the trailer.
So I road down with him and stayed.. So I am in Hillsboro Texas by myself. No bed.. No desk.. But. .I got my computers, cameas and a few items.
The rest of the family will join me on Tuesday.

OK...No phone service here yet. It will be installed on Wednesday.

The DirectTV and DirectPC (Intenet service)...not sure about it.. They are shiping the stuff to us.. we get in 4 to 6 days. The people that install will contact us two days after we get it. As you know they need a direct line of sight view of the South sky. There are a lot of trees around here. Cross your fingers.

OK.. Today is Saturday. My $175.00 went into the bank..Thank God.. I can get.. OH I been eating..fast food..but ..was down to $6.00 and remember..no ice box here yet..
So..I went to Wendy's got something to eat and then to Radio Shack and I got The Radio Shack Data Cable for my Sanyo 8100 cell phone and the software. It cost me $66.00
I just got home and hooked it up..and I am connected to the Internet at 230.4 Kbps.

I am going to post this now.. I will post later...Not sure ..How all this works.. Want to make sure I do not get disconnected.

Any Ideas

Darlene, in her current mood, does not want me around. I know that just a month or so ago she was talking about how great it was that I was here..and how her business had increased because of me.
But that was DarP1 and now we have DarP2 and DarP2 does not want me around. Also I don't want to be around DarP2.

Many of of you have commented and offered some advice. Most all of you are smarter that I am.. hell all of you are smarter than I am...
So if any of you have any ideas. I would love to hear them.

I know..it is my ex-wife and nothing legal says I have to stay around or help her out or care about her..But..She does have problems.. I was not the cause of any of those problems.. But still.. I can not let her end up on the street homeless. Also she is the one taking care of my 15 year old grandson.

I am thinking.. If I get a full time job...I can use that mone to live on... out of my retirement money..I can take and give Dar what she needs each month to keep the house.
I don't know.. anyone see anything I am missing here?

Depression

We move on November 4th. We are getting DirectTV, the TV service and the Internet service, and it should be installed soon. We will get the DirectTV hardware next week and about two days after that we should be contacted by the installer.
Darlene is major depressed. I attempted to talk to her.. but it is like talking to a brick wall.

I am having major chest pains.

I am going to end this and go and see if I can go to sleep..maybe that will help.

You can see that I have always been a cowboy. Smile.
This was 11-13-1949 on my aunt Et and uncle Jim's farm in Missouri.

Tiger Direct

Got in a small order from Tiger Direct today. I got one of those key ring USB JumpDrives. It has 128 megs of memory. I got a 128 meg SD chip and a cable. I got 100 black CDs and that was the order.

Phone Service SBC

We got good news and bad news. We will have phone service turned on at the new house on Tuesday November 5th. We know the new phone number. We are getting the service were we can make long distance calls, anyplace in the US, and we pay a flat rate of $20.00 a month for the service. So the phone bill is going to be about $50.00 a month.
The bad news is that SBC does not offer DSL service at that location. So I do not think we will find any other DSL provider. We may have to go with Internet service from DirectPC. Anyone have any comments on them?
